Pine Car weights, Tungsten Rods
I filed/machined these down to fit inside hollow pistol slide guide rod to help reduce recoil.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/29/2022High quality productRapid shipping, product came exactly as described and is excellent for pinewood derby weights. These are much more cost effective than tungsten and with the convenience of their shape I think they're much easier to insert into the car and use. Super highly recommend!Dave

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/19/2017Go the Distance with the Proper WeightMcFarland Cub Scout Pack 53 uses round weights to get their pinewood derby cars up to the proper weight. Before the cars are cut out from the block of wood, three 3/8" holes are drilled in the back of each car to the proper depth to accommodate the full length of the weight. A bolt cutter is used to remove pieces from each weight until the weight of the car, wheels, and axles are at 5.00 ounces. Using pre-drilled holes in the block of wood allows the Scouts (both Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts) to not have to worry about adding weight on top of the car if under weight. special note: 3 weeks before the derby we have a car building session at the fire station where the Scouts learn how to build a car that will finish the race. We also have an open class for adults ...McFarlandCubScoutPack53
