Great quality for price
I put 10W30 Platinum Full Synthetic in my 95 Trans Am with a 5.7L LT1. I saw about a 0.9 mpg average increase over a 2000 mile period. I also noticed a gain in compression, which could also be because I switched from 5W30 to 10W30. I'm not a good enough driver to notice any power difference claimed by Pennzoil. After 5000 miles I did an oil analysis and 72% of anti-wear additives were still present in the sample.

Still not sure
I've been changing my own oil with Pennzoil for many years going back to the days of Z-7. Have been using Platinum in both of my current cars for a couple of years now but found the new formulation made with natural gas tends to burn off. I have never had to add oil to either car between changes but now with the new formulation, I do need to keep an eye on the oil level and top off as needed. Not sure if I am convinced about this product. I'll probably use it again with the next change just to confirm my findings.

    Still Skeptical??
Been using this motor oil for my last 4 oil changes. Very impressed by the smoothness of my motor and dosen't burn-off or stink after a couple thousand miles like some top-end comparator oils. If it's good for the 7.6L Twin Turbo V8 of the Venom F5, it's good enough for me!

    Very please
I've changed my own oil now for near 30 years. I've never been let down by Pennzoil. I've tried using the competition in a silver bottle but it made my vehicle engines sound very loud. While I can understand it's protection may be on par to Pennzoil I could do without the valve clatter, so I went back to the tried true and trusted Pennzoil. I won't bother changing to other brands anymore.

    The best there is
I have a Ram 1500 with a 5.7L hemi engine . This is the only oil I ever use , My truck runs super smooth , always starts easy and I just know my engine has the best lubrication I can give it ! Penzoil Platinum full synthetic 5w 20w is what I use ! 7 quarts . I change my oil by seasons . Just before winter , then in early spring and again late summer . So three oil changes per year regardless of milage ! My truck loves this oil ! Thanks penzoil ! .And go # 22 joey lagano and the penzoil ford !

    Great oil!
I started using Pennzoil platinum 2 years ago and my engine is much quieter on start up and runs much smoother and quieter when hot. Previously I was using Mobil 1 which isn't the Mobil 1 motor oil of 20 years ago.

    Great Oil, Great Price
I use Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20 in my 2014 Chevrolet Malibu 2.5L. I personally love the science behind the oil, like it being created from natural gas and that Pennzoil offsets 100% of the carbon emissions from creating the oil. Keep it up Pennzoil/Shell. I love your products, whether it's oil or gasoline. Just make sure you shake the oil VERY well before putting it in your car because the additive package falls to the bottom of the container after a while, and obviously you want that going in the car. It'll look like a sandy type material on the bottom of the container. *Quick note to consumers, ensure your oil filters bypass PSI for the bypass valve is correct for your particular engine. Mobil told me their filters were compatible with my car, but after some research it turned out that was completely wrong and GM specifically says that it is not because Mobil has PSI of 12-15 and GM says my engine requires a bypass PSI of 22. Don't trust all manufacturers to know what they are talking about.

    Why I use Pennzoil!
A few years ago, my car hit 150,000 miles using other full synthetic motor oils from the other major oil companies. However, sometimes the other brands I was using were either sold out or not on sale. I needed a very clean oil to help my already old engine stay clean and not lose power. I decided to give Platinum High Mileage a try and noticed how smooth my engine ran. The last time I changed the plug and wires, my car had 138,000 miles. My 06 Impala, v6 3.5 engine now has 258,100 miles and still running on the same plugs and wires. However, I do change the oil every 4,000 miles and don't accelerate my car like a race car. I drive like a very old man. I am also going on the same transmission and when it when my mechanic recommended the trasnmission oil change, I went with Pennzoil transmission full synthetic Dexron VI approved oil since the motor oil has worked well for me. Also, I forgot to mention that my late uncle in the early 80s and early 90s in his old trucks would use Pennzoil, the yellow bottle, original formula, not synthetic or synthetic blend. I sometimes think about him when I buy Pennzoil, even though I use the platinum high mileage and he used the regular original formula.

I replaced to old oil with this synthetic high mileage oil and it has been fenomenal. I have a 2002 Toyota Landcruiser with 233,679 miles and I found that the vehicle performs at a slightly lower temperature and provides some fuel economy. I also notest that since is a gas based oil and not petroleum based the oil indicator shows to be slightly lower, but once the vehicle is running it levels at the correct mark. Recommend this product 100%...

I have two Jeep Wranglers a 2008 and 2011. Have been running this oil for years and it looks as good after 4000 miles as it did when it went in. Good gas mileage and smooth idle. I have been a Pennzoil customer for over 30 years and have never needed any engine work on anything using their oil.
