Easy to Install and Good Traction
I bought this before a recent ski trip. This chain is very easy to put on since you don't need to move the car to install it. I used it on a FWD vehicle and had very good traction on snow, even as my friends with 4WD vehicles (without snow chain) are experiencing wheel spin.

Doesn't fit my tire.
I tried to install the tire chains at home, but they were way too small. I'm glad I wasn't in cold, snowy conditions. I'm glad I got a store refund. I thought Peerless was a good chain manufacturer. Well, the chains seemed to be of good quality, so maybe someone accidentally put the wrong chain in the carrying box. Perhaps the part number should be embossed onto the chain to avoid confusion.

    Good quality
The chains seem very sturdy, I have not used them yet. But I feel thankful to have them available for when needed.

    Best chains Ive ever owned
There are two chains in this set. I really like them. They fit perfectly, but the install instructions were backwards for my Mercedes and at first the chains would not reach around the transaxle being almost 6 inches short if starting from location of the tire as shown. I eventually reversed the instruction starting from the opposite side and reaching behind the tire on the ground to connect the interior ends . Have not used them in snow yet but did practice mounting them on my rear tire before needing them. The self adjusting feature looks very effective. These will be the easiest to install chains Ive ever owned. They come with a compact plastic storage case and extra repair links. A great product! WalMart shipment arrived surprisingly early and well ahead of the estimated delivery date and a cross country trip I was leaving in on about five days.

Works great but damages wheel covers
I was able to use these during a recent Southern California snowstorm on a Prius Prime. These chains handle well and never lost traction between the snow and ice I encountered. For the short run of pavement between the start of chain control and the actual snow, these actually ride much smoother than the peerless z6. These chains are very quick to install, reasonably priced and performed very well. They do have one problem. They destroyed my wheel covers. As these factory aero wheel covers are not cheap, these chains caused a decent amount of aesthetic damage. At least I didn't end up stuck or in a ditch like many other cars. On my way down the mountain the road had turned to ice and my rear wheels lost traction and started sliding. I put on the z6 onto the rear and no longer had sliding issues. The noise once you left the snow but before chain control ended was significantly worse than when I had the autotrac only. My wheel covered with the z6 weren't damaged. Removing these chains is much more challenging than putting them on. I would make sure to get the red and green hooks oriented on each wheel as they had gone on before unhooking everything. When I went to unhook the latch was in the wrong place and everything became a jumbled mess. I had to scoot the car little by little to get the back unhooked. Overall great snow and ice performance at the cost of destroying wheel covers.

So easy to put on a caveman can do it
Got these for my wife's Jeep Cherokee for a pending winter trip. Had her put them on for practice in the driveway. Less than 10 minutes later they were on eazy peazy

    Seem great.
Seem good, not sure why walmart has a special version with their own part number and is so much suspiciously cheaper than the non-walmart sets that appear (by the pics) to be exactly the same, but I welcome the savings! I was unsure about the ratchet mechanism until I got to actually see it in person, it has a much strong pull than I had hoped and thats what makes me believe it will work as designed. The storage case is nice, they are easy to install as advertised. If I have any issues I will update, if there is no update to the review assume I either never had to use them or they work great. For the price I bought two sets, probably only really need one set but having two gives me some insurance if a ratchet does happen to break at some point. If no ratchets break then I enjoy ultimate traction at all four wheels, win/win!

Must have for a trip to the snow resort
Worked great for my 2014 Mazda 3! The hardest part was latching the 2nd clip but after playing around with the chains, I was able to do it. These worked great for a snowboarding trip to China Peak. I really liked the instructions

Could damage 215/45/17 rims in one use!!
I triple checked and definitely got the right size. They worked fine on my 2008 civic si with stock rims for a trip to big bear, BUT the chains and the plastic auto tighteners left discolored residue All over my rims and even gouged the rims very noticeably in many places. I never drove them above 35 mph, and mostly at 25 or below, and I did maybe 20 miles on them, total. I had squeaky clean, undamaged rims and now they look terrible after one use of this product. I'm sure I got the right size and installed them properly. Buyer beware, if you have pretty rims you will be sad. I'm seeking to return them on account of the damage and figure out who's going to pay for said damage.

    So far, so good
I've installed them several times to see how they fit; they snug-up good and tight with the ratchet provided. I've driven once on ice with them on and they do a reasonable job of holding the vehicle on course. Just know that you need to DRIVE SLOW with them on as these chains are light gauge. Not like what the heavy-haul truckers use. Probably, most likely, a good buy for the money.

Worked for the purpose during a winter storm
This was my first time using chains and driving while it was snowing. I picked up these chains at the store via online order for a last minute trip. After reading my car's manual, the manufacturer recommended chains (please do this before buying chains or cables, your car owner's manual is the best guide). I was nervous because never had to drive in the snow, but especially because we were driving to Lake Tahoe during the winter storm advisory. I practiced the night before to our trip and it was so easy to install (my husband did not practice). The case includes a plastic sheet that has the instructions on how to install the chains, but there's also a Youtube video that you can watch. Make sure that when you take the chains out of the case, check that the chains are not twisted because it will make it difficult to practice. It took me 5 minutes to install on the day of my trip (I practiced once the day before). Once you have the chain on the tire, just do some wiggling so you can hook the last part. Please follow the instructions to the T, it will make your life easier. It held up during our winter trip and looks like it can take a couple of snow trips. When you remove the chains, don't store them on the case yet, hang them to let it dry and spray some WD-40 before storing to avoid the chains getting rust. (unless you will be using them the following week). If this chain breaks in the future, I'll definitely buy them again, so easy to install and they tighten while driving.
