Very Needed Buy
I purchased these storage sticks to download my files, because I am still an Win XP user and my computer started acting up. Clearing off the music, videos and doc files was a major savings job, that only lasted a few hours of transfering. I plan to just purchase Win 7 and upgrade my RAM to keep using my computer. I have had my computer now for 6yrs and only twice have I been invaded by hackers. But now I will start keeping my important files and media on storage external sticks to keep from loosing it all again. I was able to use one stick for media and the other for files, which worked out great.

pathetically slow
I have purchased many USB 2.0 PNY flash drives in 16, 32, and 64Gb capacities previously with transfer rates at least 10Mb/sec and often greater.
This new 64Gb drive could not sustain anything more than 3.8Mb/sec. I bought 2 at the same and both exhibited the same behavior so I don't believe it was a random failure. I tried reformatting both just to see what would happen, and I could not improve the speed with any of the formatting options.
Sandisk started doing the same thing with their flash drives a few years ago, which is why I switched to PNY. I don't know what the solution is now ... seems like all the brands are going to switch to cheaper slower memory for USB 2.0.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/08/2014This is a superb deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This deal is a HARD ONE TO BEAT!!!!!!!!!!!! The current price on a 8gb usb whether you look at Staples, Office Depot, Target etc., it is roughly $10.00. As you double the gb's the price also doubles. So check out what I am saying and you will see the next size is a 16gb for $20.00 and 32gb for $40.00 and the 64gb for $60.00! And if you look online here at walmart there is a bundle that also gives you a great deal and value for the size. I don't know how it got even better, THE DEALS, but then I found this one for $24.00!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNHEARD OF, IF YOU CAN FIND CHEAPER, LET ME KNOW, AND GOOD LUCK!!!urdiviness
