    Best Playmobil set!
    This is such an amazingly detailed Playmobil set. Kids love it but so does my 37 year-old husband. It's so interactive and makes for a fun toy but also a great item for decorating your fun office. This replica is awesome!

    It is a great item for a colletors. The pieces snap together well and over all i am happy. It would of been cooler if they added more things to the engine parts. But the lights where cool to. Id say a good buy for a fan of the movies.

    surprisingly entertaining even without batteries
    you will be able re-live the movie when you play with the playmobil back to the future delorean. resembles lots in the movies such as the lightning hook and wheels fold down for hovering. playmobil figures are always cute. we had loads of fun putting it together and re-enacting scenes after. good play times. we don't have batteries yet, so no comment on the lights

    The DeLorean is nicely made. It takes some force to pop some parts in place. Once parts are snapped on it's almost impossible to pull them apart so be careful when following the instructions. It's just a bit cartoonish in proportions but is just accurate enough where it will still make the adult collector happy. The wheels are tricky to to flip into hover mode but once you've figure it out it gets easier to do. I found that you have to push down a bit at the locking tab when rotating the wheel. The rear tires are larger than the front just like the real Delorean so be careful not to mix them up. Both Gull-wing doors have streaks or marbling on them from the metallic colored plastic which is a problem with metallic plastic molding. The streaking seems to be in the same general pattern and area on all the DeLorean bodies which is weird. You would think it would be random. Playmobil would have been better off molding it in a solid gray to avoid streaking. The body of the DeLorean has no LED's or electronics in it. There is a electronic / LED battery module that fits into the rear chassis. The module has the Yellow and Blue LED's which transfers the light to clear plastic optics (like fiber optics) The effect works well.
