maybe i was just unlucky so gave it a 1out of 5
this is a very nice control but mines came defected . when playing any game online control will just not function or it will just start walking to a side with out you being able to control it or just couldn't move or use it . had to unplug and plug again like 2-3 times per game and had to be wiping my sweaty hand 's cause control is made of some slippery plastic with no grip

    Need more time though...
    So far it works great... I was lucky enough to get it at 35 bucks though.. Then after I bought it, I looked back and saw that Walmart had raised the price lol... It is not wireless for one thing, but with xbox I'd rather use the wires cause they don't have wifi controllers.. you have to keep changing batteries.. When I bought the xbox one, they didn't even put a wire for it in the package. Can interchange this wire though, for the regular xbox one controller that comes in the xbox one box. The micro usb cable is removable. I added another 10 foot usb extention cable to it and it still seems to work very smoothly without lag... like I said in the title though.. I need more time with it to see if it breaks down or whatever issue some of the other people complained about.. I do like the purple light I chose lol.. And another good thing about it is that the 3.5 mm jack outlet in it works great and lets you adjust volume right from the controller. I hooked my ps gold into it with the 3.5mm cable.. and it's just excellent with it because ps doesn't seem to let you adjust the volume manually if you use it with other systems.. .. I can't vouch for mic because I don't do multi player and never use the mic....

    afterglow controller
    well works great for 2 days. the features are awesome and the new 3.5 mm headphone jack is cool and should of been standard from the get go. well when i decided to use the jack for headphones. i shorted out the PCB on the controller. so when i plugged the product in to use the controller after the headphones were out. it would crash the audio driver on realtek audio and reconfigured only out the 3.5 mm jack only. it also crash games when unplugging controller. so if you dont use the audio out headphones you're set.

    I purchased this controller for my 15 yr old son, after he wore out the two that came with the console. He likes that he can plug his headset directly into the controller and that he doesn't have to worry about batteries. So far it seems sturdy which is good since he tosses it around. The addition of active lights/vibration is an added bonus. The week after I purchased this, I got one for my husband, too. They can set different "base" colors to tell them apart, pretty cool!

    Bought this as a Christmas gift for our son. Therefore I can't say for the long haul how it will hold up but so far so good! He absolutely loves it. He was tired of fooling with recharging batteries for his wireless controller so he asked for a wired one. I purchased the Afterglow because i thought it was neat! He loved it and you can choose what color you want it to be on all the time and change the color any time and even change the brightness of the color! Very good purchase!

    WoW!! I'm Impressed and Surprised..
    OK, I bought the older one for the Xbox 360.. The reason I didn't want to go with the new Multi Color controller was because it was terrible for the 360.. I mean I literally could not use it for Shooting games.. I was ranked Top 10 on Call of Duty 3 on Xbox Live.. There was no playing the After Glow 360 controller online without getting your butt kicked.. Period.. The right thumb stick was a 100% screw up.. All I used them for was my pc to play Emulated games.. For that it was fine.. SO, with that said I was not looking forward to getting any other controller from them.. After much reviews today and needed another controller to play two player for my son with his new Xbox One he got for Christmas, I decided to trust what the reviewers said one more time.. I have to give it to them.. "This is the Prettiest Controller I have ever seen!!" If you know the look the new PS4 Controller had when you first saw it.. The shock of it.. THIS is even better.. It has extra buttons on the bottom that are totally accessible and useable.. The controls are spot on.. The colors are awesome.. And get this.. The VOLUME FOR ANY 3.5 HEADSET IS TOTALLY ADJUSTABLE FROM THE CONTROLLER ITSELF.. Also I can mute from the controller and control the volume of not only the game but the mic and the person I am talking to as well.. This thing is gorgeous and comes with a 10 ft. cord as well.. Anyone thinking of another controller can not go wrong with this one.. Also, while I am typing this... My son is playing Dead Rising 3.. Even though he is playing I have the head phones on and can hear it perfectly as if I was the one playing it.. Playing or not this controller is simply awesome!! I don't talk good about anything that doesn't deserve it.. This controller was made right.. Finally and worth every penny of it..
