Skip this tent combo
Tent ripped on the first zipper pull......so have a hole the size of a 50 cent piece and had yet to even lay down. The other items are very cheap and basically for kids and not worth the extra money. Just buy a better tent and then get the other stuff you need.

Decent but i would make changes
purchased on sale for just under $100.00 and saw the mixrd reviews. so first two items highly debated are the "pillows" and dry bags. Pillows are pretty worthless, as they are just taller than my hands and only as wide as both my closed hands side by side. for reference, think roughly the hieght and width of a one pound bag of sugar (not as think though). the travel size or backpacking pillows are twice as big... so these would be around the American doll size. The dry bags are there, unroll the tent and look by the rain fly, but are super small and thin. They fit the tiny pillow width wise snuggly, and are twice the hieght. But i wouldn't trust them to protect my cell phone or anything. Chairs are decent chairs for smaller individuals. Lightweight with only a 225lb capacity ($8 walmart ones usually hold 250lbs btw), so for smaller adults (both weight and hieght, as my 6'6" tall sons find them to be uncomfortable). Instructions for the tent are sewn into the outer bag lining, so i imagine if you toss the bag you lose them (as some have complained about in reviews). Bag and tent seem pretty typical for the less expensive model... not weather tested ourselves yet, but have owned similar. Sleeping bags are listed as under 3lbs, which is true. so expect light fair weather camping usage and not fall temperatures out of them. Lantern is the newer style slide up and out of shell to light, with folding metal handles(hanging handles). If you don't slide all the way down though, it kills the batteries even though it looks closed. Construction is cheaper than the same exact style you buy individually (we own three of the individually bought ones that work well and are durable. But given the choice i'd rather go for the orange bottom plastic dome types. They are under $5 each in the camping section, pump out about the same anount of white light (just slightly less), offer a second dimmer light setting, and red night light setting, are push button activated (so you know it is off), and have a flat bottom with pull up swivel hanging clips (so table or hang from tent interior easily). The roll mats seem to be standard 1/4 inch thick types. We used thst style when our kids were smaller, but definitely fall short for adults or tall children like the sleeping bags (literally). So if you are an uncomfortable ground sleeper, opt for an air mattress or folding sleeping cot instead. (They come in singles, twin, full, queen sizes at our local Walmart. We purchased twin, queen, and full for our other giant tent. Not sure if hieght allows in this one yet.) Also reccomend a cheap door mat for shoes and always an under tent tarp and interior beach mat (all sold separately). To keep any tent's floor clean and puncture free when camping (roughly a $3 doormat, $5 dollar tarp, and $10 beach mat). So a decent starter set for the price if not used in colder/super hot weather, and are average size individuals. So 4/5 for the tiny pillows, and not worth it dry bags.

    Decent basic tent package.
Good value for what you get in the kit. I used the tent during dry weather so can't speak of how good it repells water. Materials are low quality, however. Sleeping bags and pillows feel 100% polyester. Sleeping mats are very thin. Quality wise it may be a 2 out of 5 stars. Value wise I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars for everything that's included in the kit. Tent does sleep 4 but only 2 chairs, 2 Sleeping bags, etc. Hood tent if you aren't doing frequent or heavy duty camping.

    Pleasantly Surprised
I was pleasantly surprised by this item. Even with all the good reviews, I didn't know what to expect of this camping set, since its so cheap. However, (at least to the inexperienced camper) this is pretty awesome set. The pillows are a joke, but who cares, I'll bring different pillows. The lantern is very bright. Overall, I think this is a great set to get me started, especially for the price.

    Perfect starter set
Great tent camping package for the money. The pillows are chicklet size so small they may work for a toddler but forgetting about those the rest of the kit was perfect for our first time out as a couple. I've camped he has not so I liked the simplicity of the set. The lantern was great. The chairs the tent. All worth the sale price I picked up the set for

Good Value, would buy again, and recommend.
I bought this combo because of the good reviews, and I must say the whole kit is overall good. We went camping for the first time and I didn't want to spend too much money on something if my kids did not enjoy it. I saw some people saying the chairs were not good, but I'm 5'7” and weigh 157 lbs and have no issues using them, The Lantern light was quite good, I was actually impressed, in the pitch dark you could actually see a lot. Everything listed in the kit was included, including the dry bags which for some reason people keep saying they did not get. The instructions are attached to the inside of the bag; and in terms of setting up the tent, it can be done by one person, but it would defiantly be more efficient as a two person job. Of course our first camp trip it rained during the night for about 2 hours on and off and pretty steady downfall for a straight hour, the tent kept my family dry with no leaks using the rainfly. We were able to use use a Queen and a twin size air mattress. we placed the twin mattress on the electric pass through hole side of the tent which had about 3-4 inches to spare in terms of space to put a power strip to charge our phone (we have a solar power generator), and we had about a foot of space between the queen and twin mattress to put our gear (4 back packs and shoes) This is the part that I am unable to give 5 stars - unfortunately, one of the stake rings ripped from the flooring making me kind of upset as I actually liked the whole setup. I am going to try to repair it as I have access to a sewing machine that can stitch thick layers. Even with the ripped stake ring. If it's your first time camping, if you can get this kit when it's on sale $99 or less I would still recommend to buy it. Pros: everything works, kept my family dry during a rain storm, cost/value Cons: stake ring ripped on first use, and in my opinion the small pillows and mats are useless, but keep the mats to do push-ups, planks, and sits up :)

Good tent for people who never go camping.
My husband easily put up the tent. I like that the top of the tent can be open for fresh air or closed if cold or raining. Nice tent for the price. The accessories may not have been the fanciest, but they did their job. The chairs and sleeping bags were used. The sleeping mats were the only thing that I felt were less than advertised, but we used them anyway. I would recommend this tent combo.

    Worth the price
I'm pleased with this purchase overall. The lantern that comes with it doesn't look like what is pictured - I actually like the one included better. As others have stated the pillows are tiny, I'm assuming they are intended as slumber bag throw pillows so you can camp in style with your pinky out. Also, as others have stated the dry bags were not included. Not a deal breaker for me necessarily, but I would have liked to have gotten all the items advertised in the listing. Everything else met or exceeded my expectations for a beginners camping set and was well worth the price.

Perfect set for beginners and first time buyers
I have used this set for 4 different camps in the past couple years, all during summer and early fall. So far I have been extremely happy with this. Twice there were rain and the tent was able to stand up it and the interiors were still dry. This is sufficient enough for me, my spouse and my two little kids. However after a couple years, when the kids grow up, it may be difficult to accommodate all of us.
