front pockets occupied main bag space
the two front pockets and the main bag share the same space. if load stuff in front pocket,then there is almost no space in main bag.

    Comfortable, well made and bright inside pockets.
    Wanted a small, foldable backpack with smooth working zippers and light colored inside panels to pack in suitcase for use while vacationing. My existing one had hard to use zippers and a dark inside making it difficult to see things. This is the right size to carry a camera, hat, suntan lotion plus a separate insulated pocket for a cold drink.

    Small but roomy!
    When I first took the backpack out of the package I thought it was for kids but after putting it on and adjusting the straps, I found this backpack to be the perfect size! It wear great when out hiking and has plenty of room to carry everything I need. With a cooler compartment, two water bottle holders and comfortable padded straps it make for a smaller yet roomy backpack. The only thing I am having trouble with is keeping the straps from slipping down but I have found that looping the end of the strap back through the top of the latch helps greatly.

    Seems to be made well enough for what I need. Good price for a just in case bag filled with some essentials for a day hike. Is it as well made as a more expensive back from REI - no. But for a bag to always make sure I got rain gear, water, some snacks and dry socks - works well.

    Perfect but for a different reason.
    We initially got this for day hiking but now use it for a baby bag. It is small but has plenty of room and pockets for whatever we need(diapers, snacks, cloths, ect). Great quality as well.

    Best hiking backpack
    As a 5'0" woman, it is hard to find an outdoor backpack that doesn't engulf you. This is the absolute perfect size for my weekend hiking adventures. First and foremost, the color is nice and easily gender neutral so that my husband can carry it when I am tired and not feel embarrassed. I also enjoy that it has one large hollow pocket that allows me to pack all my important items such as an extra sweater and my DSLR camera. My ALL TIME favorite feature about this backpack though is the insulated pocket in the bottom. I store my snacks there so that I can enjoy them when I reach the end of my hike. Would highly highly recommend this backpack to anyone looking for a backpack for hiking. This goes without saying but this would not be a good backpack for overnight hiking trips.

    Nice little multi purpose backpack
    This is a great looking, compact sized backpack with all the necessary features most people are looking for. The main zipper compartment has plenty of room for a laptop and maybe a couple of books. Large inside sleeve in the main compartment as well to separate things. A smaller top zipper is good for keys, phone, etc for quick access. Pockets on both exterior sides will easily fit 2 large sized water bottles. One Insulated zipper at the bottom for snacks, etc. This compartment would be more suited for hiking and outdoor use. It doesn't hurt the main compartments space either if you don't use it. Just would act as more of a bottom pad for it if not used. It's built well and sturdy. Zippers and materials will probably last a long time. The straps are also padded all the way down as well as the backside of the backpack. Very comfortable to wear. If you are looking for a smaller backpack for the essentials, this is a great option. It has a nice look to it as well.

    Very lightweight
    This backpack is very lightweight and easy to use. It has multiple compartments and even has a pocket for a tablet or laptop. The only problem I had with this is the size. It is very small. I use a backpack for work and have to have a larger space for everything I need. Other than that its perfect.

    This backpack provides maximum comfort when carrying all your essentials. Thick padding on the straps allow you to carry lots of stuff without breaking your back. Love the insulated pocket for packing lunches. Fits standard laptop so my daughter loves this for school. Each side has a mesh pocket to fit water bottles or anything else you would want to carry. It has multiple storage spaces to keep things organized. Can easily transition for your next adventure in hiking making this a great bag to have. Since it is multi use, it takes away the need to have several different bags for different occasions. One and done!
