I needed a cooler that was light enough for this delicate middle age woman to carry to the beach. This is the one. Dont need to spend $$$$ for a Yeti this one will do! I packed 4 long necks, 2 16 oz waters , 3 sandwiches and some bing cherries and filled with ice. The strap has good padding for your shoulder and a grab handle on the back to hand carry if you prefer. Beverages stayed cold for my 8 hour beach day, and still had ice. I debated getting the next size bigger but I believe that would have been too heavy and awkward. Side pockets are tight but accommodated my bottle opener and kookier.

Good cooler
I like how this cooler is easier to carry and use than a hard-side cooler. I love the optional plastic insert and shelf to keep things from getting wet/smushed. The strap and zipper compartment are also nice. I found the mesh pockets on the sides to be mostly useless because there's not enough give to fit much in there other than a piece of paper or maybe your keys.

    Best for 2 people max
I imagine this would be a very fine personal cooler for my tent when I bring it camping. It keeps drinks cold for a very long time! Given, this was not subjected to direct sunlight for 12 hours even when we took it to the beach, but as it's almost 100+ degrees outside now, this thermocooler performs exceptionally well. Drinks are ice cold all day. Yes, it is absolutely still cold the next day! Since this is a personal cooler and fits about 12 cans, the cooler is more for 2 people only and not for big groups. The carrying shoulder strap feels really comfortable to carry, even for a 100lbs woman, even if it's filled entirely with ice and drinks up to the very top. I imagined it would be heavy and awkward, but it actually felt really comfortable, even when I had it on my shoulder and bent down to pick things up. I enjoyed the tray inside too, as it turned into a separator where I put my phone in it (in a zip lock bag so it doesn't get wet) when we go to the beach. The zippers are okay though. They aren't very smooth, but it's nothing to complain about. However, the pocket in front of the cooler does seem pointless to me because I can barely stick anything in it. Not even my keys (although my car keys is a thick fob). So, I'm not really sure what the purpose of that is for. I guess better to have it than not! The removeable hard tray makes it very easy to clean. Just take it out and run it under water. If it's a bit more soiled, then I'd wash it with soap and water and dry it. The outside bag is very thick though. Although quite big for 12 cans, it's actually really light. I love this cooler. It's perfect for 2 people, and so I can't wait to take it to camping. As it gets hot in the day, having a personal cooler inside the tent so we don't have to share with anyone else sounds like selfish but amazing. I may even use it for fishing when I kayak because the removable liner inside is so easy to remove and clean!

    Keep it cool
This cooler by Ozark Trail has arrived just in time before our holiday trip as it's going to come in handy, storing and keeping drinks and fresh food cool. The cooler has a premium feel being sturdy and rigid with a smooth waterproof outer layer. Once again it's sturdy and not flimsy like our previous coolers. While empty it's surprisingly lightweight even though it feels well-built. Plenty of space for ice and a dozen cans or whatever you need to keep cool. I do like the rigid container inside that gives its overall shape. It's padded quite thick all around which makes it a thermocooler keeping items cooler longer when packed with ice generously. There should be a pair of carrier handles to keep it level instead of a rear handle only, as holding it that way tilts the whole cooler. There is at least a shoulder strap. There's a mesh external side pocket each side for holding additional contents like a water bottle perhaps. Overall, this thermocooler has space for a dozen cans with ice, keeping items cool for a good day or so. The waterproof outer layer is a smooth finish and feels and looks great. Highly recommended.

    Perfect for the summer!
This cooler isn't really big but it will definitely fit 12 cans. I don't drink a lot of soda so I fill this one up with other items (lemonade, water bottles, ice tea, etc.). The insulation is really thick on the lid and the inside so it will keep whatever you have in there cold (with ice, of course). There is a really tight and slim pocket in front - not sure what to keep in there as it is a tight squeeze in there. Two side pockets as well for small items. I do like the fact it comes with a top shelf on the inside to place above your drinks. I use this for sandwiches, fruit or other snacks to keep cold. I'm traveling to Florida from Georgia in a week so I will be taking this with me during my long drive to and back. I do like to camp solo and this will come in handy but I like this more for smaller trips (to the park or one day camping) as this is a smaller cooler. Longer camping trips I will require a bigger plastic cooler. I have no real objections to this product. Again, it's well insulated and water resistant on the outside.

    Great Cooler
I have used this twice now on our picnics to store Soda and water on Ice, it's great we always end up dumping the ice or bringing it back home. I work in a warehouse and have started taking my lunches in it now. It works well for a lunch bag too. Not many outside pockets which I miss but it's built like a tank and will last forever. Will deft recommend for small picnic usage or lunch bag. .

    Use it everyday
I got this to use for my lunch bag for work. Is is larger than I thought it would be but It still works well for my use. It seems very well made and rugged, it has no wear as of yet as it has been tossed around in my work truck. I like that it has the hard sides as my last bag did not and occasionally would have something heavy thrown on it and then I'd have "jam" sandwiches for lunch. I also like that it has a shelf to keep fragile food separate from the heavy stuff. The exterior mesh pockets work great for holding all the little things you don't want flopping around inside your bag like pens, gum, hand lotion, etc... . I use 1 medium size ice pack and that seems to suffice to keep cool for the duration of my shift. While this is a little large for a typical lunch bag , it is perfect size for going out for a day in the park of fishing or what have you. Looks good and works well.

    Great Cooler
I'm excited to review the Ozark Trail 12 Can Welded, Hard Liner Thermocooler with Microban because it is an exceptional cooler. First of all I have had many types of coolers and this is the best smaller cooler I have ever used. It seems very sturdy. It has a nice adjustable strap with wide shoulder pad for carrying. It has a flat zipper pocket on the back, two water bottle pockets on the sides and also a bunch of loops to attach keys, bug spray, sunscreen bottle etc. to. The top, bottom and all sides of this cooler have a thick padded insulation and a hard drop in insert to keep your items in. It contains a tray type device at the top to help keep items and perhaps smaller things at the top of the cooler. We will be using this for keeping cold groceries cold when shopping as well as use it for the beach and trips. It holds a 12 pack of cans or a couple sizeable lunches plus enough room for a lot of ice for an outing. I recommend this cooler to anyone who needs a small cooler that holds a decent amount and far more than one lunch.

    Very nice portable can cooler
Great little cooler for up to 12 cans. As shown in the picture, the bottom 8 cans sit upright, while the 4 on top lay on top. Given there's an insert to go between the cans on bottom, you having cans plus some other cool snacks/foods would also work quite well with this. We keep this in our car stocked with our favorite inexpensive sodas so when we eat out we can skip the overpriced soda and just get a cup with ice and use our own. The shoulder strap also makes this very portable - even fully laden, it's still very manageable to move around. Good item - recommended.
