1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/24/2022Poor performance from excellent clipper companyOster is a clipper company I know well and highly respect, but these clippers are severely underpowered. When I attempted to clip inside my dogs paw pads it would stop, because it couldn't handle the hair. I would have to gently hit it against the heel of my hand in order to get it going again. It went through one battery a session for four sessions before dying completely.Carri

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/23/2021Battery Muncher, Dulls FastVery disappointed in these clippers. I only needed them to trim the hair on a golden retriever's grinch looking paws and trim her ears. The blades seemed to be getting dull after doing 1 ear and 3 paws. Hold on - it gets worse. I used a Rayovac High Energy battery. After the 4th paw and starting on the 2nd ear, the battery starts draining really fast. Almost done with the second ear and the battery dies. Maybe invest in a few rechargeable batteries. I also felt the clippers were a bit loud for being advertised for trimming ears. My horse clippers are quieter. Yes, my dog's hair was clean. Yes, I oiled the blades. Yes, I'm experienced with clippers (horse clippers for several years). If you buy these, keep your receipt. My pair are going back.Fun7283
