My husband likes a sour cherry pie and we were unable to find the canned cherries any where else. We were pleased with the price and the speed of delivery.

all cans were dented due to poor packaging
Don't order canned goods. Unless they are packaged correctly they will all be damaged when you receive them.

    Pie cherries
    These are with out a doubt the best cherries on the market. They are a little expensive and well worth it. The cherries are tart but not sour and have a natural sweetness to them. They come packed in water which is perfect as they don't need a syrup to add flavor.

    perfect cherries
    I initially bought these to make cherries jubalee for my husband. In the meantime, i have found them handy for a quick cobbler. I like that i can control the amt of sugar added. I concider them to be a special treat. Have found no pits or irregularities in the cans.

    Product excellent; packaging poor
    I received numerous severely dented cans in this order. I felt like I had shopped at a secondary, dent shop! These dents were not from shipping issues but rather were obviously shipped from Wal Mart in this condition as they were packed/padded very well and the severely dented cans were in the middle of the box. I am not purchasing from online web site so that Walmart can send me cast-off product!!

    Very disappointed in walmart. Ordered 4 cans and everyone of them was dented in several places. The box was not beat up so it couldn't have happened during shipping. The product itself is excellent.

    Makes the best pies
    I bought 6 cans; 2 were dented. And as has been mentioned in another review, there was no damage to the box, so these were dented before they were packed for me. I would never pick a dented can off the shelf; I expect whoever is packing my order to be as careful. Please take note, Walmart. As to the product itself: I've made 3 cherry pies with these cans, and they were the BEST pies! And we always drink the water that we drain out of the can--nutricious and delicious.

    Great tasting cherries, but in dented cans!
    I needed pitted tart cherries in water for an old family recipe. Walmart has been the only place I've ever found them. My local store was out so I ordered online. Product was fine, except each of the 4 cans I ordered was dented, so not so appealing. Glad they weren't being used as a gift.

    Love these tart cherries!
    These cherries make an incredible cherry pie... especially when coupled with a high quality almond extract. My whole family begs for this pie! A great purchase at Walmart. Whole Foods charges 5 times Walmart's price for the identical cherries.

    product great, shipping not so great.
    I was happy to find this product available through Walmart as we like it very much. However, of the 12 cans ordered, 10 were severely dented, the other 2 had minor dents. The 10 damaged cans were difficult to open because of the damage. These cans were not damaged through shipping, as the box they came in was intact. The store that shipped them seemed to send all their dented cans. I was disappointed in that. The fruit was good, but I feel I should have been informed that I was buying damaged goods.
