Premium Toothbrush equals excellent clean
Right out of the gate you know that you're getting a great product. The unboxing of this thing felt like getting a new phone honestly and I loved it. The ojix black color is super clean looking and the travel bag slis a nice extra to have. For the price I feel it could have come with an extra head but that's just me. The actual cleaning ability and feeling after has consistently been great for me. The app gives you some journeys to go on, badges to win and guides to help you brush better which this does flawlessly. Overall I would highly recommend this item if you're looking for a premium toothbrush.

Meh Brush
I bought this product several months ago (about a year now) and at the beginning it was great. My teeth were clean my mouth felt healthy, until the black mold started showing up. Just an FYI after every cleaning remove the brush head and rinse it with water. Even after doing this help clean the gunk out, I still have some black residue that is on the brush head and tip of the brush unit. Wouldn't recommend as my Sonicare was much easier to clean. I'll be selling this one and getting a Sonicare for this reason more simple features.

    Some Good Points, Disappointed Overall
    I bought this about 2 months ago and was excited to have the capability of detecting when I push too hard on the toothbrush. I found out that I am not a major offender and it happens less than 2% of the time. Pros: The unit indicates when I push to hard with I am brushing. Cons: the brush body gets very slippery when the saliva migrates down the brush to the body of the brush. Sometime I can barely hold onto the brush. The brush heads are only effective for about a month for me. After 3 weeks I begin to notice that my teeth don't feel as clean as the day goes on. After 4 to 5 weeks, I can notice the difference right after brushing. I change the brush head and everything returns to Clean and Fresh. I bought a two pack of the brushes, so I could leave one of the brushes in my travel kit. The toothbrush in my kit lost the full charge in less than 6 weeks and I was very surprised when I tried to turn on the brush while visiting my sons house. When I brush without using the App, the saliva and toothpaste mixture keeps onto the brush while I brush. It gets to the point where I obscures the display that tells me when I have completed the 2 minutes. It would be nice if the brush generated a different tone, or pause when I hit the 2 minute threshold. The app is a good idea, but I have to stand straight up while brushing in order for the sensors to detect the area that I am brushing. When I stand straight up I tend to express more saliva/toothpaste mixture onto the brush.

    Outstanding Oral-B Toothbrush Product
    I bought the iO Series 7G Electric Toothbrush Black Onyx three weeks ago and I am very happy I did. I have used other electric toothbrushes from Oral-B but this iO series changed the way I brush my teeth. The teeth look clean and the gums are healthy. The bluetooth connectivity from the toothbrush to the Oral-B App on my iPhone provides realtime information where I am brushing and whether it is with the right pressure. The toothbrush has pressure sensors and a colar indicator of Green (right), Blue (under), or Red that is excessive.

    This thing works amazing I can't believe how clean my mouth gets after each brushing, and it's so fun to watch the app as you brush just to make sure you're getting everything.

    Initial Review of Oral B iO Series 7 Toothbruth
    I've only had this toothbrush for about a week, but I must say, I am in love with it. Oral B has stepped up their game. The toothbrush feels much more substantial than their previous model. It no longer feels cheap and plastic. The flat black color is very nice as I'm sure the white would be also. I like the new design of the brush head; I feel that it better cleans my teeth than prior models. It's the perfect height and weight in your hand. The one thing I am having to get used to is the power button which is high up on the handle, and is not intuitive for my thumb to find it when I am holding the brush. This is probably something which just takes a little bit of time to get used to. I was debating on whether or not i wanted to upgrade to a different model so I could get the molded plastic case. I am so glad I settled on this model for a few reasons. It is less expensive which may sound silly, but when you're starting at $200.00 and then just go up, it makes a difference. Secondly, the plastic case will only hold the toothbrush and the brush head (separated from the body). The magnetic closure pouch that comes with this model will accommodate the toothbrush body, plus the brush head holder (comes with the kit and has room to store two brush heads) as well as the charging stand (if you need it). This is a bonus that you should consider. Anyway, that my initial review of this toothbrush. Look carefully, because I think this Series 7 package comes with different accessories not necessarily found at other retailers.

    Exceptional Toothbrush
    This Oral-B black iO7 replaced my previous Sonicare toothbrush, and it's an exceptional step up from that other model. The iO7 is extremely comfortable when brushing, and you can actually feel it fitting to the gumline as it cleans. Fantastic. It gives that just-from-the-dentist feeling (in the best sense!). But more than that, it's also beautiful. This thing looks fantastic on the countertop. And the digital display and travel bag are both great bonuses. Highly recommend this one!

    NICE SLEEK MODERN DESIGN
    This review is for the Oral B iO Series 7G rechargeable Black Onyx toothbrush. Included in the box is the magnetic charger base and power cord, 1 brush head, brush head holder with cap, travel case and instruction booklet. This toothbrush is bluetooth capable via the downloadable app. and has 5 smart modes and a customizable light ring. I haven't tried the app features yet because I could only find the Oral B Fun Zone app for kids. The handle and brush head are very comfortable and I like that it has 5 different smart modes.
