Yuck
I have ALWAYS used old El Paso taco seasoning but it is not the same anymore. I don't know what changed but IT IS NOT GOOD. We love spicy food so it's not that. Please go back to your old recipe and please inform people when you change it. I'll be looking for something else in the meantime.

    I made some tacos and used Old El Paso taco seasoning. I, along with my mother could not find instructions on the package. On the back was some recipe using pineapple as an ingredient. It wasn't until "after" preparing the ground beef, draining and adding the taco seasoning and eating the tacos that I discovered a problem. The flavor was way too spicy. I got on line to see what the issue was and discovered I was supposed to add 2/3 cup water, bring to a boil and then simmer until it thickens.

    I keep Old El Paso original taco seasoning mix packs in my pantry at all times. It's my favorite to make tacos at home. It's also great in making dips. I use it often!

    What has changed?
    I have been using your taco seasoning mix for years, when I lived overseas I would stock up when I was back home in the USA for a visit. I have tried the original taco seasoning mix now four different times, and the ingredients have changed and it does not taste like the same seasoning mix of old. Suggest you have your team please return to the old recipe as it has been a staple for decades! Thanks.

    Fav flavor taco seasoning!
    Our favorite taco seasoning! We buy the value size because we eat tacos quite often! It is a great buy for the price. My only complaint is the kid on the taco seasoning. I live where it gets humid and even inside my house the lid doesn't seal well enough so sometimes the produce clumps.

    This product is pretty good. I'm very picky and also, I'm a chef so I usually make my own rubs and spices from scratch. I find myself using this product quite a bit so I would definitely recommend it.

    Tacos are everyone's favorite.
    Do you have a kid like I do? Who just likes tacos so much! This seasoning was approved by the pickiest kid I know.He live chicken tacos. But this seasoning tastes good in chicken, beef. Shrimp and fish tacos.whater you prefer it's all good.Just don't forget to pick up some at the store.

    Great combination of spices and flavor
    My husband and I really like this seasoning. It's not very spicy which I personally like. I've tried other seasoning mixes that were too spicy for my likening. The packet has enough seasoning for us ( a couple) to use up to two times

    Better flavor and still reduced sodium
    I use this taco seasoning for a variety of things - I use it as marinade with lime juice and extra garlic on chicken, beef, pork on the grill, use it with hamburger for regular tacos, in the pressure cooker with beef, bake chicken with it, have used it as seasoning with mayonnaise for a southwest pasta salad, made cheese and sour cream dips with it. I do add a little cayenne pepper to it when I'm using it, I like that it is reduced sodium so every little bit helps. It's got great flavor and I can do a variety of dishes with it so it's very versatile.
