Oculus Rift S = Best budget (<$1K) VR, period.
The Oculus Rift S is a great problem. Walmart shipped my item very fast, and the package it arrived in was very secure. Walmart provides shipping details omg he product as well, so if you live in an apartment complex like I do, there will be no worry of when it arrives. The Oculus Rift S provides the ULTIMATE gaming experience. Yes, you will need a medium - high performing PC to see the benefits; however, this provides much better graphics and more gaming options compared to the Oculus Quest.

Google "Rift S black screen" I was lucky and it didn't work out of the box otherwise I'd find myself in the position a lot of Rift owners are. Endless pages of people who can't get their headsets to work, lots of forum post that read "this is the work around for this update" with "it didn't work for me" follow ups. They point the blame at usb drivers being the main cause but the truth is it's just the simplest thing that will leave you dead in the water. I tried updating drivers, rolling back drivers, bios update, beta drivers beta oculus settings nothing could make it work. Even worse if and when you get it going one windows update, one new driver release or software update for your video card and poof paperweight. It shouldn't be this difficult at any price point, especially not from a product line that is supposed to be the easy entry point.

    Remember a DP to USB C
    Disliked the fact that I was under the impression that I could use an HDMI port just like the original oculus. It is in good condition but now I have to waste my time going to get the display port - usb type c.

    Oculus rift s totally worth the money
    If you are considering getting this thing I 100% recommend you do my older brother had one and I tried it out and had to get one have been playing it and love it and just to put you on something if you like first person shooter games get boneworks its in my opinion one of the best games on vr

    Great out of box ease of setup and use.
    If youre looking to get your feet wet in the world on VR you will not be able to find a better bang for your buck. The tracking accuracy is startlingly good compared with much more expensive competitors. I would recommend having a six core Ryzen and an RTX2060 minimum. Begin exploring the world of VR, interact with other people in new and unique ways.

    If you race or fly this a must. Yeah it does have a little screen door effect, but the immersion makes up for that. I have figured that is I adjust them on my head just right it helps. Not heavy and I didnt sweat at all but I do have a fan going most of the time. Great purchase!

    Best VR experience for your money
    Came in a few days delayed but only due to Covid-19. Works perfectly and is the best VR headset I own to date. The outside in tracking works extremely well. Just maintain good lighting in the room and you'll be set!

    Mind Changed
    I was very against VR. I didn't like it didn't want to hear about it, it was just a fad. I had a moment to check it out at an art event and was stuck on stupid of how engrossing the worlds are. I played From Other Suns and Chronos, and was simply sold. This was a great investment for me. I just wish there was more multiplayer titles which I know are coming but now I have a few friends that have the Rift S and we want a title like Rainbow Six to play on it. That would be awesome.
