One of the most amazing experiences!
I've always been a fairly early adopter of VR, especially when it comes to oculus! They've always had a pretty solid product and the gear VR for the s6 and the s8 lines were pretty good considering their limitations. You can imagine how excited I was to be getting the opportunity to try this product out. I have purposely taken my time on this because its a large purchase for anyone and I wanted to be sure that others would be satisfied! First, if you are a glasses wearer, fear not! There is a spacer that helps let you wear your glasses and the quest lenses themselves will adjust to 3 different pupillary distances helping to ensure the clearest view possible. If you need additional fit bands, they can be purchased separately, but as a person with a fairly large face, it fits snug, but comfortably. Second, the graphics are amazing! In comparison to older versions of Oculus headsets, this is leaps and bounds ahead. I purposely played a few different types of games and each one had its own "Wow" moment! They all play without any stutter or skipping and the sound is so amazing as almost noone around you can hear it. It feels like it is beamed directly into your brain! Lastly, I love that this can connect to rift by link cable and play games from your computer also. The games from the computer and the games that you can play on the headset itself are all amazing, at least the ones I've tried. You can tether yourself to the computer for some hard-core VR gaming or you can use the device completely separate from your computer for easy on the go gaming! Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this headset. Oculus knocked this one out of the park in my opinion and I don't think that anyone could be disappointed with the quality of this device!

No made for people who wear glasses
Whoever designed this product obviously does where glasses and or did not test it on people who wear glasses. As you can see from the photos I provided the glasses are tight with the the device off my face. It gets worst when the device is put on. My glasses no longer fits on my nose, it hovers in the device. Also there is a weird glare from upper part of the devices lens. I got this to try the exercise apps and now I have to struggle to use the device. The apps and interface works great. I use the supernatural exercise app for about 20 mins and get off. Cant go any longer because I have to constantly adjust the device on face back of head starts to hurt. I will try to get the other strap they made for it. I see they sell prescription Lens, but why should I pay extra for a seroius design flaw. Please note that this review is for the orculus quest 2. Walwart is a awesome company.

    Amazing piece of tech
The Oculus Quest 2 can really take you to another world. With a 360º field of vision (even in the root menu), a stereo surround sound speaker system, and intuitive ergonomic controllers, the Oculus Quest 2 really engages all your senses to put you in the virtual environment. Everything sends your brain the message that you are there! You need a Facebook account to use the Oculus Quest 2. I personally shy away from social media, but if you don't have one, it's easy enough to create a Facebook account just to get your login credentials. Once you're in, you can go on some incredible adventures with just the free pre-installed content (let alone the thousands of VR-compatible games and programs out there). There are some amazing 3D movies that aren't interactive but are nevertheless thoroughly immersive, putting you right in the center of the action in a fully detailed 3D environment: walk the streets of the Holy Land, venture through the jungles of Brunei, get up close and personal with some elephants on an African safari. If you're into dinosaurs, I would definitely recommend the Jurassic World movies. That's about as close as you'll ever get (or would want to get) to seeing a real raptor. However, it's the interactive programs that really show you what a powerful system you're dealing with. The controller can tell the difference between pushing a button, lifting your finger off the button, or just resting your finger lightly on it, creating a surprisingly natural system that is intuitive and easy to learn. The controls just make sense and let you focus on the moment, whether you're playing zero-gravity ultimate frisbee, fighting a lightsaber duel against Darth Vader, or taking a space-walk outside the International Space Station. You can use the Oculus Quest 2 anywhere with a good Wi-Fi signal, because the boundaries of the virtual space are incredibly easy to set: you just use the controller to trace the borders of the room, and you can adjust it as often as you like. Big room, small room… abnormally shaped room… normally shaped room but there's a couch in the middle? Check, check, check, no problem! If you get too close to the boundary, the walls become visible so you can adjust your position. And if you do step outside of the boundary, the goggles switch to a camera so you can see your real environment without removing the headset, which is a big help for safety and convenience. (Be careful, though… while you can see if you leave the boundary, you can't see if someone else enters. I had a family member cross inside while I was playing and I almost punched her in the head while trying to catch a virtual frisbee.) If there's one thing to worry about with the Oculus Quest 2 it's that it's SO good, you'll want to be pretty systematic about regulating your play time. Even reality feels a bit different, a bit more virtual, once you take the headset off. So use caution and moderation. But really, that's a testament to the quality of this product, and as far as immersive virtual experiences go, you cannot beat the Oculus Quest 2.

    Great Standalone VR gaming system
First I'll start by saying I have been gaming for twenty years now but have never got into the VR scene. I felt the technology was not there and the pricing was very high. With the Quest 2 starting at $299 and being a standalone VR console (no computer needed) i was excited to check it out. In the box comes the headset and two controllers. The headset is not too heavy but the straps can get uncomfortable after an hour in. Different headgear straps are available online and would recommend. The controllers are perfect for most hand sizes and are really easy getting used to. I thought it would be hard to adjust to using two controllers but in no time it felt right. A nice feature on the headset is you can change the lenses by sliding them between settings 1-3. This adjusts for the distance between your eyes which helps fix the focus. The headset lasts a few hours of gaming and charges pretty quick by usb-c. One thing it would be nice if the charging cable length was longer. That way you could charge while you played. Not only can you play games with a decent library to choose from but you can use Facebook and surf the internet. Major thing though, is you need a Facebook account which could bother some people. Hopefully Facebook doesn't try to control everything we do on the Quest 2. There are many apps you can download such as Netflix and YouTube. That way you can watch movies and videos on VR which I thought was pretty cool. Seems like big companies are developing for VR now and over the next few years a lot AAA games will be coming. The price point for the Quest 2 (65gb) model is spot on and with no computer needed I think this is a perfect system for anyone. If you do own a pc you can hook up the Quest and make it even more powerful with better graphics.(Link cable needed) 65 gigabytes is definitely enough space for a decent amount of games and apps. You can always delete old ones as you go. I do know they sell a 256 GB model which some people would rather have. Being that this is my first time getting into VR i would have to say I'm so happy it's with the Oculus Quest 2. So for anyone on the edge about getting a VR headset I could definitely recommend The Quest 2. PROS Price point perfect No computer needed Plenty of games Charges fast by Usb-c Nice size and not too heavy Can link with a computer for better performance Sound is great without headphones User friendly Operating system CONS Strap Uncomfortable Facebook account needed Short charging cable Accessories can be expensive

    The future of gaming!
Like the title says, this is the future of gaming. With virtual reality gaming you can fully immerse yourself into the game. The quest 2 makes it possible for almost anyone to be able to play in VR. It's a standalone unit that doesn't need to be tethered to a computer. But if you so choose, it can be linked to a capable PC using the oculus link cable essentially turning it into an oculus rift. My wife and I love the quest 2. Such a versatile vr setup at an amazing price. You get 2 hours or so of game play per charge. Which can be extended with a battery pack. The head strap is pretty basic but I have zero complaints about it. It does come with a small spacer if you were glasses such as myself. I would recommend getting the lens protectors. You definitely can't fit a very big frame inside them, so be mindful of that. The batteries in the controller must last quite some time as I've had it for a couple of weeks and they are still full. The facial interface is comfortable but does seem to aid in sweating. I haven't had any issues with the lenses fogging up though. When playing, I recommend a nice open space with no obstructions. Setting it up was a peice of cake. You will need to use your real Facebook account to use it. It will walk you though the whole setup. Game play is pretty awesome. They have a decent selection that will just keep growing as time goes on. The built in mic and speakers sound pretty good too. There is a headphone jack if you want to go that route. I recommend playing some of the first step sort of games to get you use to the controls. With a decent gaming pc, you can link and play steamVR content too. You will need the oculus rift software downloaded to play from your pc. Overall, you can't go wrong with the quest 2. I plan on getting a second one so the wife and I can play together.

    Great Design!!
Oculus Quest 2 is one of the most amazing VR sets. It is very easy to use for beginners. It has a great design with a stunning white color. It comes with one console and two touch controllers. It also comes with a glass space attachment that can use if someone needs glasses to use a VR set. I need glass to use VR when I wear it the first time it feels a little weird for a couple of minutes and then I did not even realize that I am wearing the glass. It is very easy to set up that requires a good standing Facebook account to use it and purchase for the VR. The set also comes with a USB c to USB c cable and charging adapter. I love to watch movies in the theater. I watched a movie on Netflix. It was an amazing experience of watching movies on VR. It also allows changing more than 6 different homerooms. the minimus storage comes with 64 GB that is good enough for the games or using the other applications to watch movies or songs. It also has an oculus browser that easily opens any website like other devices. It can connect with a 5 GHz wireless connection that provides higher speed to play games or surfing other features. It can also connect with a PC via connecting the USB c cable. It can manage using the Oculus application that can download via the App Store or Play store. I noticed one issue with the App store that When I select the privacy settings and try to close that setting page. It overlaps with the previous page. I am hoping that Facebook will fix it asap in their application update. Overall, it has a good design that easily uses by beginners and it has good performance to play games.

    Oculus Quest 2 From Facebook
I was a bit skeptical on how "real" this would look as compared to the commercials and the only thing I can say is, "I was wrong". This is gaming on a new level. If you turn your head to the right or left the camera view also moves with you. One thing I loved the most is the ease of setting up the device. You won't need to connect to a computer or anything and best of all no wires that will get tangled or ripped. If you owned the previous version and think you can't play your old games on this then your in luck because the Oculus 2 is backwards compatible. Inside the box you will get: VR headset, 2 touch controllers, 2 AA Batteries, power adapter, Glasses Spacer, and a charging cable. You will need a Facebook account, wifi, and you need to download the Oculus app to set it up. If you do buy this I highly recommend the Jurassic Park Aftermath game.

I need another one for my wife!
This game system is the coolest experience we have in the home. I didn't have high hopes as I am super bias toward the old fashion paddle and game set. However I cannot get my wife to stop playing. This has been a fun family gaming system for advanced gamers like myself and someone who has never played games before like my wife. The reality head set last for about 3-4 hours on a single charge, and comes paired with everything you need. Watch a few YouTube videos and this system will have you wanting more. The price tag is always scary but there are some perks of this gaming system: 1- the system comes with everything you need. No additional controllers are needed maybe grab a $20 carrying case from Amazon or Walmart.com 2- the games are cheaper than PS5, Xbox X, or Nintendo switch. I have own each system and buying additional paddles and games add up fast at $50-60 each time. The Quest 2 you can download free content without any subscriptions and hit the ground running. If you want to buy a game the games will typically run $15-30 a game download. I haven't purchased a game yet and have had hours upon hours of gameplay fun with the family. Lastly another cool feature is the casting option. If you have a headset your friend, spouse or whoever is near by can watch you game on casting options which is super cool. I highly recommend giving the Quest 2 a try. This is the next generation of gaming.

Finally a VR headset that you can really enjoy
This is my first set of personal VR headset and I would say I am extremely impressed. I have used VR before in past but it always used to give me headache and overall experience was never immersive for me. But this headset changes the game. I am using it everyday for hours and never did i have any headaches. The screen is so beautiful and crisp inside the VR. The controllers are amazingly accurate and extremely responsive. The tech is very high end. The response to every touch is super quick with a heptic feedback which is amazing. You can also set the boundry of the area you are playing in to not accidentally hit things in room. It has built-in cameras which shows you area around you in kind of augment reality. This will let you select the area you want to play in and it then creates a virtual boundry around it. You can also use your fingers instead of controllers. It uses these cameras for your hand tracking as well. It took me little time to adjust and find my perfect fit on the headband but now its perfect. Overall I am super impressed with the product. Further scope of improvement: Even though the screen is super bright and crisp the distant objects look a bit blurry.

    This thing is awesome
For context, I never had a game system until college and I haven't bothered to get an Xbox live gold subscription in I think 3 years now because I don't have time to make it worth the cost. So having that kind of mentality, I personally wouldn't find the Oculus Quest 2 worth the money. That said, this thing is pretty awesome. The tech is awesome and I can't wait to see where it goes over the next few years. I haven't tried many games because I'm cheap and there aren't many good options that are free, but I have been playing beat saber which is a lot of fun (and exercise). It's basically DDR but you slash the blocks with light sabers. The con is that I think this tech is still pretty new, so there isn't a lot out there in the way of games (even the ones you buy), especially those that are good. Hopefully we see more good games come out. Also, basically all videos you can find on the internet that are VR do not have good quality, so while they are "immersive" it feels less so since the quality is nowhere near realistic. This isn't the fault of the Oculus, but just the nature of content that is available to interact with. All in all, it's lots of fun. If you have money to burn, then it may be worth your while. If not, I'd say hold off until it starts to take off, otherwise it may be like buying a 3D TV (sounded like a good idea but went nowhere).
