Smoothies, soups, salsa.. oh my!
I bought this product more than a year ago so I could have protein smoothies as a part of my routine. I've also used it to make tomato soup and salsa, piña coladas, even pesto.. I've had absolutely no problems with the blade since I hand wash it immediately after each use. However, I stuck the cups in the dishwasher and the measuring line washed off. Ideally good for single use - my only problem is that it's loud and you have to hold it down for it to blend. Otherwise, a great starter investment.

The process was really fast an the item arrive on time. However when I open the box the blender was used and smelled it look like somebody used it and returned and then you sold it to me. You should check the merchandise when you packing at least. Last time the glasses I bought came all broken It looks like someone just put it there without any kind of care. Really disappointed I usually have a good experience shopping with you.

    A $2 Seal Makes the Nutri Ninja 900 Unreliable
    A little $2.00 rubber Seal that sits inside the Blade Assembly makes this Nutri Ninja Pro 900 un-useful. It has to be cleaned after use. The device will smell in short time due to rotting food deposits that collect under the seal. Removing the Seal requires a sharp thin tool. It can break easily. Good luck trying to buy extra Seals. Sharpe Ninja says they do not carry any. Try to order from online third party BL450 and you are bound to receive one that does not fit. I tried 4 times. Your only recourse is to buy another unit. I purchased a replacement yesterday from Walmart. It was the exact same model as the one originally purchased. Comparing these BL450 units side by side, they were very different. Parts could not be interchanged. Called Ninja to order extra seals and a blade assembly. I was told that the Nutri Ninja 900 Watt is discontinued and they do not have accessories. This particular model is currently being sold by all major retailers. I personally think this a marketing strategy. The motor is powerful. Makes great Smoothies! What is the point to buy a blender with a powerful motor only to have to throw it away because of a $2.00 seal. What a waste of money and a burden to our landfills. Sharpe/Ninja is not acting socially responsible.

    Best kitchen appliance
    I received my Nutri Ninja Pro as a gift about 5 years ago and have used it every day since then. I make a smoothie using a wide variety of raw vegetables (95%) and fruit (5%) with enough water to make it a drink. This 1000W blender never takes more than a few seconds to grind up any vegetable I throw in, from Brussels sprouts to garlic cloves and ginger root. (I admit, I never put an ear of corn in there. :-) It's easy to use, easy to clean and as loud as a jackhammer. I'd prefer a glass cup, but that's probably not going to happen. We're in the 21st century.

    Great Product!
    I've only had it a week but it's doing great so far. Easy to use, easy to clean, the only bad thing is its LOUD. And shipping is SLOW. Why it took several days to get from East Washington street down U.S. 40 to Cambridge City, I have no idea.

    Extractor blade poorly designed
    Ninja would be an absolutely outstanding product with a slight re-design. I use my food blender daily for making smoothies and MCT coffees, and have been generally thrilled with one major exception. The black plastic extractor blade housing develops micro cracks which then leaks . Suggest a re-engineering to use a cast metal

    Thought Ninja was a good brand...
    I'm using model BL451 and honestly worked great cut great. But clean up is not easy... The blade portion of the lid leaks very badly, looks as if there is no o-ring seal around the whole thing so air leaks in and your precious smoothie leaks into the base. The base of the blender can only be hand cleaned therefore it takes over an hour to make a smoothie.

    It was great but then...
    When I first received the Ninja blender as a gift from my husband I thought that it was the best thing since sliced bread. It is only been over a year and it does not work any longer. We as consumers need to spend our money with companies that are going to Bill products that will last over a year. Products should last at least 5 years, at least that long. So why keep putting money in a product that would only last a year or two? It doesn't make much sense so I will not purchase another Nutri Ninja blender. I've had enough of being taken advantage of, no thanks!

    I watched the infomecias for both, the NutiNinja, and the NutriBullet. Then I watched the stuff on You Tube for both. I am happy that I bought the NutriNinja. It is well made, easy to use, and easy to clean. I use it two to three times per day. It's great. I used to own a Juiceman Pro many years ago. It was complicated and messy to use, and difficult to clean. I used it for a few weeks, and the put in the closet and never used it again. This is exactly opposite. I can use it, and the it only takes a few minutes to clean it. It comes with everything that you need, and nothing more. The other brand comes with all sorts of stuff that you don't really need, and they charge twice as much. This is a great deal.
