Love this Coffee Maker
I am absolutely in love with this Coffee Maker, I cannot say enough positive things about it! The machine was easy to put together and instructions were easy to follow. Quick Start Guide has some awesome recipes that I followed. I made Cappuccino-Style Coffee and everyone loved it and said it's as good as Starbucks one. The machine looks beautiful and luxurious. I love the frother feature, it makes all the difference. I have other Ninja products which I love and glad that this coffee maker did not disappoint and was up to the quality of other Ninja products I use. Highly recommend it!

Not worth the money
This coffee maker has nothing but defects. If you want water or coffee all over your counter, then purchase this maker. I had mine replaced & still nothing but problems, when you contact for help they act like you never brewed a pot of coffee before or know how to trouble shoot, when actually you know more about it than the person on the other side on the phone. This Ninja is not a good coffee maker, it's not worth the money & you will be stuck with no coffee in the morning more than once.

    Like it, wanna love it
    We've had our coffee maker for a month. I wish it was a simpler to make a carafe of coffee. My husband invariably misses a step and doesn't go quite right. I love the frother, the depth of flavor of the brew, and the warming plate that keeps the carafe of coffee piping hot.

    I love this coffee maker!
    I've wanted a Ninja Coffee Maker for years but could never get my husband on board, so I was thrilled to receive this product! I love buying speciality coffees when I'm out and about but I hate how the cost adds up. The Ninja Speciality Coffee Maker allows me to make my favorite coffee drinks right at home and I love how much money I'm saving! Pros: I love the glass carafe that keeps coffee hot for hours with the warming plate. My husband drinks coffee nearly all day since he started working from home and loves that it keeps his coffee hot! I love the attached milk frother and how easily it stores away when not in use. I'm a huge fan of not needing to buy single use pods. This equals more money saving in the end and less waste in the environment. Cons: Washing the glass carafe is a pain. The first time I tried washing with a sponge, I stuck my hand inside to clean it and scratched my hand up from the inner plastic rim. It has very sharp edges so watch out! Not necessarily a deal breaker, but this carafe is a 10 cup when we are used to a 12 cup carafe. It took us some time to adjust how much coffee to use with the smaller carafe. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons (which even the cons are not THAT bad) and I cannot recommend this coffee maker enough! I can't wait to use it next summer so I can try out my favorite iced coffees! This is a true hit in our household!

    Extremely impressed with the features
    I am so impressed with this Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker that I am getting one for both my son and daughter for Christmas. This coffee maker has the ability to brew by the pot, half pot and cups (including travel size) and also allows you to choose the strength of your brew. This machine allows you to set your machine to brew at the time you choose but I have honestly found that it brews so quickly that I haven't needed to do that and this unit even has a spot to store your measuring scoop right on the side of the machine. This machine has a copper filter but you can also use a paper filter should you choose. The frother on the side drops down when ready for use and quickly froths up cream for your specialty drinks (all you need to do is heat the cream up prior to frothing). I am really looking forward to making all my iced coffee drinks at home so I can skip the line (and the crazy cost) at the coffee shop, highly recommend.

    Love this coffee maker!
    Ninja coffee maker Love this Ninja coffee maker! It's so simple to use, and includes a frother and scoop. This coffee maker allows for me to use it with the carafe that it comes with, or I can let the coffee drip directly into a cup. Since I'm the only one in my house who drinks coffee, I rarely use the carafe and always just use my cup. I can use a taller cup directly on the heating plate (which has a sensor), or I can use a shorter cup with the drop down arm. The reservoir holds lots of water, and I only have to replenish every couple of days. I took one star off for two reasons - 1) it's very bulky and did not fit on my kitchen counter underneath a hanging cabinet. It was too tall and I wasn't able to get the reservoir opened without pulling the whole machine away from the wall. The clearance from my counter to the bottom of the hanging cabinet is typical length so I feel like this is something the engineers at Ninja should keep in mind when designing their products. I just ended up buying a coffee bar to sit it on; and 2) while the buttons are simplistic, they are a a little too simplistic. I keep having to refer to the manual for how many ounces each of the mug sizes are. It should just say the number of ounces of each mug size underneath the type of cup. Very minor things. And overall, very happy with this coffee maker!

    Love the versatility in this brewer
    I love coffee! Coffee beverages, coffee ice cream, coffee desserts… love coffee. What really excites me the most about this is that I can brew a full pot, half pot, full cup, or espresso size. The frother that is attached to it works great and ticks away neatly when you are done. It comes with a two size measuring scoop that has its own home on the machine as well. The coffee comes out a really nice temperature that isn't overly hot or too cool so that your coffee is cold before you are done drinking it. It's simple to use and the controls are a nice size so that even my old eyes can see them. I'd definitely purchase this as a gift for friends and family without hesitation.

    Ninja Coffee Maker, I love you!
    I am a member of Bazaarvoice and TryItSampling and received a Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker to sample and give my honest review on. I have been a coffee drinker for over 20 years. Never before have I had such strong feelings for a drip-brewer. Ninja absolutely nailed it with this model. Pros: Built in frothing tool that folds away for convenience, single serve settings, single serve cup holder, included coffee scoop with accurate measurement guide, fully detachable for easy clean up, variety of settings for multiple brew styles, auto brew settings, specialty espresso style brew, including mesh filter, great flavor coffee, and it's always the same. Six brew sizes, four brew styles. I would highly recommend this coffee maker to everyone.

    Highest recommendation! Best coffee made at home!
    This has got to be the best coffee machine we have ever had the privilege of owning. Definitely a professional style maker! So many coffee preference options: classic brew, rich, over ice (gives a more authentic/vivid flavor that avoids a "watered down" flavor for ice coffee), and specialty (concentrated for lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, etc.). It has six different brew sizes, ranging from regular cup (8 oz), XL cup (11.5 oz), travel (14 oz), multi-serve (18 oz), half a carafe or full carafe. A fold out cup platform feature is included for single cup/mugs. There is also an option for the screen filter, included, or you can removed for paper filters to be utilized. This machine even has a fold-out frother that creates a silky froth from milk or from your own favorite creamer within seconds. Please keep in mind (as it mentions in the included instructions) that the frother does not heat up the cream. If hot cream is preferred, it is an easy warm up in the microwave before the frothing process. Easy day. Since receiving, we have made every type of coffee that we would usually order from a "Starbucks", "Dunkin Donuts", or any other Coffeehouse....and it has not disappointed at all. So delicious and so many options! Have seen some negative reviews when it comes to the machine stopping during the brew cycle. Here is your answer: when reading the directions, it is mentioned that the machine "may pause once or multiple times during a brew cycle. That is okay. Pausing allows the coffee grounds to fully extract and unlock the full flavor of the brew style." They are not kidding, that flavor is definitely and is amazing! The only con we have is that the carafe neck will not allow bigger hands to fit in it for cleaning. Resolution: a bottle brush, ingenuity, or even the dishwasher (yes, it is dishwasher safe!) are very easy resolutions. With that mentioned, this machine is easy to clean, easy to use, and has easily taken over as the best machine we have ever used! Thank you Ninja!

    This Specialty Coffee Maker by Ninja is an upgrade from what I usually use in a coffee maker. Having is unit in my home is like having my own personal barista! I can brew a cup to a full carafe and everything in between. I can have it brewed original, bold, specialty or iced just the way I want it. It has it's own frother that swings out when needed and swings bag in place out of the way when done. It has a permanent filter and a scoop to use for my favorite ground coffee. I can have my own coffeehouse style drinks without leaving my home. No burnt coffee taste, no coffee wasted and it's easy to use at anytime you want. When it's time to clean it, there is a cleaning cycle to it. Just follow the very easy instructions that come with it. It's a very modern and sleek looking that it fits any kitchen decor. It makes a great conversation piece having it out on my counter. This would be an awesome unit to gift for the holidays, weddings, new office and house warming. I'm really happy with this unit and all the wonderful options it gives me to enjoy my favorite cup of coffee in any style I want and to fit the mood I'm in. It's a GREAT machine to invest in as it will not disappoint!!
