You get more than you pay for.
I teach computer classes and have ten computers I use on a regular basis. Operating systems on these computers include XP, Vista, 8.1 and 10. Didn't think I needed another computer. My wife bought me a small briefcase for travel (at 70+ years old small and light is good) and none of the computers I had fit, the smallest was off by and inch and a half. When we travel I am not sitting in front of a computer but when one is needed I want to use my own. This little gem just fit the bill and what a price! You can't buy the operating system for that price. This is a somewhat cut down version of Windows 10 and it was "added" to the machine although it is past time to revert so 10 it is. It is safe to remove the old Operating system and free up some space. Minor issues getting it to work with some USB devices and the keyboard is very very small with many keys having three functions. Loaded several programs and they are running well from the SD card. Would be nice to charge through the USB port but you can have everything. All in all if you can live with the size a GREAT buy!

Poor Quality
Bought this next book about a month ago haven't really used it but to watch movie and went to turn it on the screen does not work I do not recommend anyone buying this even though it was cheap it's probably not worth it keep looking

    Nextbook bad battery
    I purchased this product which I thought was a great value, I understand it's just a cheap version but hoped it would last a couple of years not become a disposable unit. There are issues with the battery. Would not charge and when I sent it back the battery expanded as seen in the picture. DO not purchase this product.

    A bang for your buck
    Initially when i was unboxing and i had to take the protective film of the tablet screen, the tablet corner lifted so i immediately was like oh god i just purchased something that is not gonna last me a week. I gave it a chance and i love it, its a little small (for me) others may like the fact that its the size of the average book that you can throw in your bag and go. Its very practical. The touch screen is very responsive and the keyboard as well. Another thing that kinda ticked me off was that the fn keys did not work idk if maybe they're locked and idk how to unlock them but i still cant use the fn keys f1-f12. So i use the ones on the tablet screen for example the fn key that is typically used to lower the brightness. Overall i would give this a 4.5 out of 5. I really would recommend it. Sorry about the pics with the case on it (i had a hard time putting the case on so i didnt feel like taking it off.) Its so you have an idea of the size.

    Nice little tablet, but a bit slow at times
    This is a very nice little tablet. Great for word processing, email, skype, and surfing the web. A little small for watching movies, but possible. Don't do more than 1 or 2 things at a time or it will get very slow going. Not for big gaming or editing video.

    Software glitch fix
    I have a next book. After three months, it would not turn on. Only by chance, I found a YouTube video explaining the problem. The computer will go into permanent hibernation/sleep if you do not turn off the hibernate/sleep option. YOU MUST DO THIS IMMEDIATELY. Otherwise, you have to take the back off, find a White plug covered by green tape, pull the tape back, unplug the White plug, plug it back in, replace the tape and put the back of the tablet back on. THEN go into your settings and turn off the hibernate/sleep option. ALSO, the plug has to hit a sweet spot for it to charge. I have no idea why they just wouldn't use a usb! Other than that, a great little pc.

    Love It!!
    I love my PC tablet sure it may be a bit smaller than the 11 inch nextbook, but it gets the job done. I can search the web and download fun games. I would defiantly recomand this product.

    This was my second nextbook purchase. It came DOA. I had to return it to walmart to get a full refund. The tablet PC booted up ok but I could not get the left click start button to work on the windows 10 logo. Right click would also not work on the desktop bc I wanted to personalize and change the wallpaper. The 8.9" screen was too small for my liking also. My 1st nextbook that came with windows 8.1 had a 10.1" screen and a bigger POGO keyboard which I like a lot better than the smaller Nextbook Flexx 8.9" but that was not the reason I had to return for a refund. This tablet was simply not working as expected. Maybe, I just got a lemon, IDK. Anyway, I purchased another 10.1" from Amazon running windows 8.1 and have had zero issues with it. The Nextbooks are good alternatives to those that don't want to purchase a laptop. Great for surfing the web and checking email. Not a huge hard drive but you can install a few critical programs that you like and they work well.
