effectiveness
so far I love this mask/ cleanser combo! I mostly use it as a mask and when I do I can feel it working. I have had acne for almost 13 years so I have tried soo many products, but i guessed i missed this one. When i use other potent masks I barely feel them or not at all, so this mask was a surprise.

Didnt have much to much of an issue when it was on my face but do not use a wash cloth you like when wiping off your face because it will bleach it!! Which has me wondering if its even safe for my face. Havent used it since.

    Works amazing for stubborn cystic acne
    Best ever for my stubborn cystic acne. Love that it can be used for both a wash and a mask. Does bleach colored towels, so be careful when using.

    Best drugstore face wash
    I use this every day! Best part you can use it as a daily wash or a face mask! I love it and it really fights stubborn acne. Definitely go get this if you have recurring acne!

    This has been my go to face cleanser/mask for YEARS. I'm talking over 15 years! Something about this formula just does it for my skin. I have used high end products and drugstore products but none of them work as well as this! My skin stays clear of breakouts and stays smooth and radiant. I love this and pray that it never gets discontinued!

    My go/to daily face cleanser!
    This is my top choice for daily face washing and cleansing. I have tried dozens of products and I always return to this. I am prone to dry skin and this does not dry out my face or leave it pealing. When I fly with only a carry on bag, I always try to visit a store day 1 to buy for the duration of my trip. Make travel sizes, please! My daughter is 15 and gets frequent breaks outs on her cheeks and chin. Since introducing this product to her six months ago her skin has greatly improved, her acne has reduced significantly.

    great product & have been using it for years!
    i was recommended this product from a dermatologist & it's worked so well with my skin. i would definitely recommend! it has a great cooling effect after rinsing off but doesn't give my skin that tight feeling.

    Good product for oily face
    This product makes my acne prone less oily and diminish the acne almost the next day. My only concern with this and all Neutrogena products is the packaging. They do not provide any type of safety seal. Open cap and product available. So its at your own risk.

    Best face wash for me
    Asian. 33 yo. Combination skin. Oily T-zone. Been using this cleanser/mask since 19 yo. Tried other stuff but always came back to this one since other stuff made me breakout more. My regular routine: Use every morning, night, and in every shower. All followed by application of Proactiv or Equate repairing lotion and Aveeno lotion. After popping a/some pimples, wash face with this. While face is still wet, apply as mask and leave on for 15 - 20 minutes (sometimes I leave it on for 3-4 hours), then, wash mask off. Use face wash again for final rinse. Use Proactiv lotion or Equate Beauty repairing lotion on entire face except under eyes and lips. Use Aveeno Daily Moisture for eyes and lips. By next day, pimple is dried out. In 3-4 days with regular routine use of face wash and Proactiv/Equate/Aveeno lotion, I can rub the dead skin around those popped pimples away in a hot shower and skin looks new again.

    A good choice for stubborn breakouts
    Very effective, but can be drying. I pair it with a simple moisturizer. I definitely noticed a positive change within a few days of using the face wash. Would recommend.
