We bought this for our daughter who just had her first child. She is absolutely thrilled with it, says it helps immeasurably while she is nursing our grandbaby. She had been borrowing a "boppy pillow" from a girlfriend but wasn't happy with its sloping design. Based on her rave review after using the Feeding & Nursing Pillow, I would strongly recommend it as the perfect gift for a nursing mother.

A must have for nursing mommies!
The My Brest Friend definitely makes nursing easier by supporting your arms & baby. The wider, flatter surface on top & the way it straps around your waist make it more supportive than the Boppy. I have a 7 week old who eats every hr & a half to 2 hrs so the majority of my day is spent nursing & I have a lot of back trouble so I need all the support I can get. With the Boppy, my baby wouldn't stay up on top of it but would slowly slide down in between my tummy & the Boppy b/c it wouldn't stay snug against my tummy. I was constantly adjusting my baby. The Brest Friend will work for different types of holding positions too. I tend to use the cross-cradle hold as recommended by my lactation consultant & it works well. She actually had one of these in the Dr office for me to try. Great product!

    Game changer for nursing
    This cushion is absolutely perfect and I'm SO glad I bought it instead of making due with just pillows. Save your back and neck and buy it.

    I haven't had my baby yet but I went ahead and got this before the baby arrives. my mother used it for her last two kids and absolutely loved it, she said it completely saved her back. and especially right after birth when she didn't have the strength to hold her babies to breastfeed it absolutely saved her body. I am so excited to use it and definitely will make sure it goes to the birthing center with us. the only thing is I am very picky with fabric and this didn't have any specifications on what the cover was made out of, it's kind of like a cheap polyester which I guess makes it easier to clean but I just don't like the feel, I'll definitely make do with it though. for some reason it isn't letting me give a star review so I would give it a 4 out of 5

    Awesome nursing pillow, stays in place very well compared to the competition. The cover was a bit tricky to put back on after washing and it doesnt seem waterproof, so time will tell how it holds up.

    Total game changer! Gives so much support when nursing, baby doen't “slip” between you and pillow like with a boppy because it is snug being it's strapped around you and it has a square edge instead of rounded.

    I have a Boppy pillow and was always having trouble with it staying in place if I had to move the slightest bit. This pillow is amazing. Not only does it stay put with the straps, it provides much needed back support while feeding. It even has a pocket to keep the phone, remote, bottled water or whatever you need close by. It's a new mom must have.

    BEST nursing pillow ever, bar NONE!!!
    I used a Boppy for my first son. I thought the Boppy was good at the time, but if I had tried the My Brest Friend I would have put that Boppy directly in the trash! This is SO much better in every way! I love that it goes all the way around the waist, hooks on and doesn't come off until you're ready to take it off, has tiny bumps in it for elevating baby's head up to the breast, is flat so baby's less likely to roll off. Also, its flatness helps keep baby awake for a full feeding. I also love the pocket that's sewn onto it to keep things in, such as remotes, cell phone, snacks, bottled water, burp cloth, etc. The only complaint I have is that it took SO long for them to ship it to my store! (I used Site to Store shipping.) If you're undecided on what nursing pillow to get, get the My Brest Friend! You won't regret it! You WILL regret it if you get the "other" nursing pillow!

    Better than the Boppy
    This is the best breast feeding pillow. The lumbar support makes it very comfortable for mom and the level top makes it easy to keep baby latched on. I found that the Boppy sloped down too much and I had to keep adjusting the baby during a feeding this doesn't happen with the brest friends.
