Buy something else skip this
It's overcomplicated and not made particularly well. It's quite difficult to get it set up, With many pieces that are unnecessarily complicated just by being in so many small pieces that have to be put together in a certain way before you can even attach it to a wall. If you are on a budget I recommend skipping this model and trying something different, It may be cheap but it is absolutely not worth it. Plastic pieces are made out of plastic so cheap that I worried it would fracture or break simply by putting it together

    Great gate. Sturdy, can open either direction. Adjustable for door width. Instructions pretty good. It is removable. Gate opens completely so no trip hazard. You can open with one hard, but more quickly with a little lift with your foot.

    Best Pet Gate Ever!
    I use this gate for my Golden Retrievers. This is the strongest gate and hardware I've found. I highly recommend it for dogs.

    Over all good
    (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Over all I have had 3 of these gates including my current one. They work well as long as they are installed properly. But as my kids put weight on it they tend to stop working over time.

    Perfectly suits our needs
    This baby gate fits perfectly with our wrought iron railings on our second floor. It is strong and durable and it appears that it will last for years. It is easy for an adult to open with one hand and pretty much impossible for a young child to figure out. We needed a gate that had no bottom bar as a tripping hazard and this fits the bill. When assembling I had doubts about how it would fit our opening, as it only adjusts to alignment of the bars in the two sections. Would it be too short in one setting and too long in the other? We ended up in the shorter setting and extending the bolts at the end as far as possible and it works great. If the gap was a hair longer, we would have need to adjust to the next width. We did discover that one year olds delight in rolling things under and through the gate and watching them bounce down the stairs, but that's another issue!
