Nice shirt, cut big
This shirt is one of those things that pictures aren't going to tell the entire story. The design is like camo for the lake. It has full-width vented back with mesh sewn in so it breathes well. It is a full button-down, long sleeved shirt, and the cuffs have two sets of buttons so you can have it as loose or as tight as you prefer. The shirt is cut big in my opinion, so it's definitely something you're going to want to try on for sizing. There is a zipper pocket behind the left front pocket, and both front pockets have velcro closures that seem to hold tight. The shirt is fairly light, so even though it is long sleeve, it's design is to protect your skin from sunburn while still maintaining breathe-ability. A very nice shirt by a well-known brand that is purpose-built for the lake.

    My Son Loves It
    Mossy Oak makes some pretty uniquely fun design clothes. This shirt is definitely in the unique and fun design category. The size I am reviewing is an XL but fits my son who is closer to an XXL in size. It has a button down front and collared neck. It's a quality made shirt and my son loves it. He wears it every week. It's a pretty selfish green color and very soft material.

    Incredibly comfortable/cool for long sleeved.
    I don't have much of a need for long sleeved shirts living in west central Florida, but I will be wearing this shirt during evening and night hours because it is incredibly cool for a long sleeved shirt. The material, 92% polyester and 8% spandex, is very soft to the touch. The blue/teal/white colors are pleasant on the eyes. The two front pockets are large enough to be useful and the Velcro band above the left pocket is great for retaining my sunglasses in a way that reduces the possibility of damage or being misplaced. Each arm/sleeve has the capability to roll the sleeves up and then button the sleeve out of the way so the shirt can be worn as a medium sleeved shirt increasing the cool and comfortable feel. I definitely recommend for men desiring a lightweight and cool long sleeve shirt.

    Perfect gift for the fishing fan in your family
    The Mossy Oak fishing guide shirt is long-sleeved with a button-up collared design that looks nice enough to wear out to eat, but it comes in a camo print that is meant to imitate the surface of the water. It's made with performance fabric to keep the wearer comfortable on an outdoor adventure. Just because you're dressed for the outdoors doesn't mean you can't look nice. The shirt arrives folded very neatly which makes it simple to gift-wrap nicely. The one I received is blue and the camo looks much nicer than the picture is able to render very well. If you have a fishing aficionado in your family, they will appreciate this as a gift.

    Well made performance fishing shirt!
    Mossy Oaks has made a winning shirt. You need shop no further! This is the water camo shirt you need. It is soft, durable, and is machine washable! It is button down so you can wear it as an overshirt or by itself. Its perfect for the Florida sun as it offer built in UVF sun protection and a mesh back with fabric cover to let air in. The fabric itself is flexible and is made to wick moisture away from your skin so that all those hours in the boat under the sun your shirt is helping you stay dry and comfy (and for my guy less lobster like). There are several storage pockets to keep your gear stowed away including a slot for sunglasses, etc. My guy has the blue camo shirt and loves it. It was a hit with everyone on the boat and got passed around. Thankfully he got it back. The threading is well done with no loose or hanging threads. Pockets and stitching are well made and the shirt is very breathable when using. It will be excellent whether you're fishing or just hanging out on the boat especially if you are prone to burning. I'm thinking I've found a new boat shirt if my guy will just let me borrow it.

    nice shirt for a boater or fisherman
    I really like the UPF protection of this shirt saves me from applying and reapplying sunscreen all day. I also noticed- though its not promoted as bug protection, I got a lot fewer bites than the others. It is very comfortable as far as fit and is true to size. The one thing I wish it had a shirt tail hem or side slits for more give when you sit down. It has a straight hem, but is long enough for good coverage. It does stick to your skin a bit when wet, but dries very quickly. The funny thing is, it both keeps me cool and acts as a light windbreaker jacket. Has lots of ventilation with mesh inserts, plenty of gusseted pockets that hold a lot and a loop for your sunglasses- very handy. It washes up well and wrinkle free if you get it from the dryer promptly. I do wish the color was more to the blue side than green like it is--both for style and fewer flying insects are drawn to blue. It is very well made and seems like it's going to hold up to a lot of outdoor activities.

    Lightweight and nice color
    Shirt is lightweight and has a very nice color to it. My husband usually wears a medium and this was an XL, it still seemed to fit him nicely. He's already worn it a couple of times fishing and he says it does a good job of covering him up, but yet still allow for airflow. Material is soft and light and color does not fade in after washing. Will be seeking out more shirts like this for him to fish in!

    Perfect outdoors shirt.
    Even tho this says a fishing shirt this shirt can be used for any kind of outdoor activity. Fishing, hunting, or whatever the outdoor occasion is, this shirt is the one. It has several pockets which comes in handy and it's long sleeves which is good for keeping the mosquitos from biting.

    Nice Outdoor Shirt!
    I have the Mossy Oak Long Sleeve Performance Guide Shirt in a blueish color. I believe the shirt comes in three colors and the official name of mine is Mossy Oak Elements Spindrift. It also comes in a sunset (orange) color, and a yellowfin (yellow) color. The pattern is supposed to depict rippling water because the shirts are targeted toward fishermen. The shirt seems to be well made and is very comfortable as the fabric is designed to stretch and move with you. The sleeves are designed to leave down and button at the wrist, or they can be rolled up and buttoned in the up position at the elbow. The shirt has mesh across the upper back (mesh back yoke) that allows the fabric to breath and allows you to stay cooler. There is a zippered cell phone pocket and a sunglass holder built into the shirt. The shirt also has built in UV sun protection to protect you from the sun. I normally wear a Large in shirts so ordered this one in a large. It is actually big on me so I would advise that the sizes run large. The tag indicates the Large will fit a size 42-44 so in hindsight I should have purchased a medium. It's a great shirt and I would recommend it, just pay attention to the sizing.
