feels and looks like soft wool
Mohawk's recycled synthetic yarn looks and feels like soft wool. And the rug is made in the USA. It's better quality than my synthetic rug from Turkey. The "berry" color is a maroon red and a bit stronger than it looks in the manufacturer's photo, but the overall look is muted with lovely golden, beige and ivory tones and a scattering of light blue. The description includes "emerald," which I don't see at all in the manufacturer's photo; it is a visible emerald green in the actual rug but in small doses. I didn't need green in my color scheme, but blended with the other colors it works. See my photo for what I consider a more accurate illustration of the colors.
