Mobil1 has fallen in quality.
Filter not as pictured, looks like a Toyota oem. Has print indicating its.a 251-a, but nothing like the pic. Does not look to be synthetic. dont waste your money. Mobil1 has fallen in quality.

    Bad experience from Walmart.
    This was a terrible experience. I ordered a two-pack of M1C-251A oil filters. The two items came in the same box. One was manufactured in China, had a black top and bottom plus two O-rings and a plastic oil drain plug. The second was manufactured in South Korea, had no firm top or bottom, and only a single O-ring and no drain plug. Both are M1C-251A filters but different. How can I be sure that the filters will work on my vehicle when they are different??? Terrible experience. Now I have to return both of them and find a more reliable source. I'd give this a zero star rating if I could.

    Not the filter pictured on the box. They cheapened the product significantly but chose to leave the picture of the more expensive version on the box. Don't be fooled by the liars at Mobil 1.

    Poor Redesign
    A poor re-design which eliminated the top and bottom metal caps with seals. Returning and will unfortunately have to go with another brand.

    It is a good filter. It states it is good for 10k miles just like the oil. I usually change my oil filter when I change my oil. I may try to skip the oil filter next time to see if the filter is as good as it states.

    Quality went downhill
    I have ordered two same filters and I got two filters. One came as the old version with metal pieces on the top and bottom and the second one is the new version. It is paper only with no metal. I could not believe my own eyes when I put them next to each other. No wonder it is half the price it used to be but I am sorry I don't trust the new version
