First Detector... Great choice
After much research, I decided on the only digital metal detector. best bang for the buck in my book. I have no patience for lengthy instruction manuals, 100 step programs, or long learning curves. it arrived, I put it together, and went out in the back yard. it has auto noise and ground balancing, which are awesome! Settings such as volume, sensitivity, etc are just a click around the wheel on the pad/screen. The icons are pretty blunt. LOL. Day 1, I was digging until I got a blister. Not joking. and good stuff too!. Some coins, old miner's tags and stuff. The weight is LIGHT! It's new technology (sorry old timers), and it's accurate. After the novelty wore off 1 week later, I have been using the tones and numbers and finding nice stuff. I'd highly reccomend this as a first detector, which it is for me. Hope to get a few coils next and a pointer. I am in PA, which has clay, iron, and ore, and it works perfectly! I'd not be writing if I was not satisfied after almost 2 weeks in. I just wish I could hunt more and work less

Strain my brain
I am near menso material and I still haven't figured this machine out. I listened to the ONLY documentary instruction I could fine online and, still, it just doesn't make sense to me. I regret getting it. I paid over $900 for it six months ago.
