Love these boots!!
I was kinda skeptical on purchasing these boots because of the negative comments that I read, but after I received my boots and tried them on they were perfect!! I wear them just about everyday because I work outside and so far so good they have done what I needed them to do. The zipper can be a pain in the real at times but you just have to zip them up slowly and carefully.

The boots are fine, Fedex lost the first pair so you sent me another pair. Month later the first pair showed up. I called to get them returned and I was told that I would get a %50 off code for returning the lost pair but I never did. Don't like being lied too.

    Solid boots but not water proof
    I bought these 6 months ago (April 2021), I have a farm in Australia. When I walk through morning damp grass my socks will be wet. When I walk through ankle deep water my socks will get very wet. I am a bit disappointed as I bought these because there are meant to be water proof but they are not. Apart from that the grip is very good, ankle and snake protection is excellent. The zip is a small problem as dirt get stuck in there and makes it hard to zip up.

    Best boots ever
    First I want to thank Rocky Boots for helping me with my order and their expertise on the boots. The sales person walked me through all info on the boots, even not knowing about the brave person that has to field test them. These snake boots are comfortable and light weight, I feel at ease now when I’m in the woods. Again thank you and I will be returning when I need more boots.

    Comfortable, but side zipper breaks.
    I bought these boots for turkey hunting in 2018. I hunt for three days a year. So, after the 2019 season, I have a total of six days wearing the boots. Last night a buddy asked me if I would help him look for a deer he had shot. I put on the boot and pulled the zipper up. The zipper broke and made the boot unusable. I contacted rockyboots.com to let them know. They reminded me of the one year warranty. I understand a one year warranty. But when you make a product that is not generally daily wear, a one year warranty does not cut it. They offered me a 50% coupon code for another pair of boots. Since these msrp at $159, I figured if I can get the same amount of wear from the new boots, it will only cost me $13 bucks per hunt for some junky boots. I have owned three other pair of Rocky snake boots and I have had problems with the zipper on every pair. These are a nice concept but don’t put out a product that fails miserably. I will admit, before the boot zipper broke on the 7th time putting them on, they were comfortable.

    I have been a Rocky Boot user for 30 years plus! Through the years I have only had two pair fail!! In both cases they replaced the defective pair! I say that’s the upmost example of customer care! I will always use Rocky Boots for all my outdoor activities....

    Good fitting boots
    Bought a pair of the Rocky Lynx after I had bad luck with the fit of a pair of Chippewa snake boots (they slipped, didn't fit right). These boots fit perfectly. If you like the fit and feel of Rocky boots in general, these fit to size and feel great. They are a little hot in the S.Texas heat, but being waterproof and knee high, that's the price you pay for snake protection. Haven't yet tested the "snake proof" aspect, and hope I don't have to. Also, I noticed a lot of people had complained about the zipper breaking; you DO have to be careful when zipping the side up to make sure that the fabric doesn't get caught in the zipper, just don't force it.

    Great boot
    I recently purchased the Rocky Lynx Waterproof Snake Boot. I've only had the opportunity to wear them twice so far, however I'm very satisfied to this point. I've Rocky Snake Boots in the past so I ordered the same size as prior. A little snug at first but after just having them on my feet for a few hours they broke in just fine. I wear a medium weight sock with them and very comfortable. I really like the side zippers which makes easy on and off. Good tread on the shoe for any condition.

    Good Boot
    I have these boots I bought a year ago and wear them every week. I bought this pair for my wife. I purchased the recommended size for women and they fit her perfectly. The only negative about these boots is the zipper. The zipper its self is great; however, the kevlar gets caught in the zipper constantly. You have to insert 1 finger at the base of the zipper and then add a finger (2 fingers) as you zip it up to keep the kevlar lining from getting caught in the zipper teeth. Do the opposite when unzipping...2 fingers in the top and 1 finger in the base. Otherwise, it's a bear to get the zipper working properly when the kevlar is caught in the teeth. They are comfortable and well worth the cost. We haven't tested the 'water proof' feature and we haven't had a snake attack the boots so far!

    Good turkey hunting boot
    Bought for turkey hunting Waterproof for heavy dew mornings,wading through water. Comfortable lightweight doesn't get to hot on those warm days. Plus snake proof protection. Zippers seem to be a bit stiff and hard to open and close at times is only reason I didn't rate these boots a five. Otherwise good turkey hunting boot
