This was a gift for my grandson. Firstly, it is a great learning tool. He has been running around the house 'cleaning'! He's 5. Melissa and Doug products are always excellent quality, and this is no exception. He is having fun with it. I highly recommend it.

I would not purchase this or suggest it to anyone
I purchased this set for my granddaughter for Christmas and several of the string loops have broken and the duster has unraveled. She has not played with these items one month

    Great toy except for the storage stand
    My 3 year old grandson loves this toy. My only complaint is the storage stand. I know another consumer had an issue with the dowel separating from the base and injuring their child. I have the complete opposite issue - I *want* to separate the two so I can store all the parts in the original packaging box when my grandson isn't here. So kudos on addressing the safety issue of the previous customer but I wish there was a way to make the storage stand easier *to* store when not in use.

    My son loves it!
    My son got this set for his 2nd birthday and loves it! In fact he loves to clean along me so much his plumeau is starting to look a bit icky, as well is his mop I was wondering how to go about cleaning it? Because of the wood I assume I can't pop it in the washing machine, like my adult ones

    Perfect for a toddler
    Our toddler LOVES this cleaning set, and “helps” me clean the house all the time. She even now does it on her own! I also love that the set is small enough to stash in a corner or closet and doesn't have too many pieces that can be strewn around the house.

    Careful of splintered wood!
    The kids love "cleaning" but the broom splintered at the hole at the top. Luckily it stabbed me instead of my kids. I sanded down the area and checked all the others before I let the kids play with it again. Otherwise, pretty ok for the price.

    My grandson was thrilled with this set. He is almost 3 and loves to help his parents with cleaning. Go figure! He loved the stand and enjoys hanging the implements on it. It was definitely a hit and it's well made.
