Not worth the $$$
This tips over. The shapes get stuck. Not enough storage room at bottle. Crappy product. Wish I could return!

    Great!
I got this at a steal of a price. Melissa and Doug have great quality toys and this one doesn't disappoint. I love that the shapes holes are all around in more than one place. There's even a shape list with their names on the back.

    Shapes and colors
My 3-year-old is learning his shapes and colors this was great for that he told me every color and where they went. Now I'm trying to teach him to say the names on the harder shape. On the botten of the box it tells the name of each shape and it shows the color of it too. Each shape has its own color and its own place to fit in on the box. He has one show that he likes and each animal is a different color so he was showing them that they had to go into the right color on the box. Even if they didn't fit, he was showing them lol.

    Sturdy wooden toy
My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loves this toy. Educational and fun for a preschooler. Not to mention the quality of the product. Would recommend Melissa and Doug products. They are made to last.

    Sturdy Blocks
I really liked the fact that these were actual wood blocks. No cheap plastic here. I'm embarrassed to say that I played with the blocks myself and had a hard time finding the correct way they fit. I'm happy that it holds my child's attention. My daughter loves to be on the phone most of the time to watch children videos and children's music but she actually put the phone down and her attention was on these blocks for awhile. I was very impressed she enjoyed them so much. I like that it has the name of the shapes on the back. Some of these shapes I didn't even know the name of. Overall, the blocks are a hit in our household.

    Fun and educational
I have an 18 month old daughter and I thought this Melissa and Doug wooden shape sorter with colored blocks would be a good toy to help her learn her shapes and have fun at the same time. This wooden shape sorter has twelve different shapes. Square, hexagon, rectangle, pentagon, star, quatrefoil, trapezoid, triangle, octagon, diamond/rhombus, parallelogram and the oval/ellipse. There are four different colors of blocks and the sorter has the four different colors with three different shape designs on each different colored area. This makes it easier to know where the shapes go and once they learn the colors they can match the shapes easier. The wooden shape sorter is sturdy and strong plus the back of it has every shape listed along with having the proper color of them so you know what each is. Even my 7 year old daughter and 5 year old daughter enjoy this toy and had fun playing with their youngest sister. My youngest daughter loves when I help put the correct shape in and tell her the name of it then she pushes it into the holder, it makes her giggle with joy. I think this is a great learning toy and it is definitely worth getting. All children need to learn colors and shapes so a quality toy that helps them learn these plus that is fun are best.

    Very sturdy!
This wooden box is a great way for my daughter to identify shapes and colors. She immediately grasped the concepts of finding the correct hole for the each block shape. The box is very sturdy. It also has the name of the shapes in the back. The sorter has 12 shapes with different colors. Great for toddlers and preschool.

    Great product!
Great product for a toddler learning their colors and their shapes along with matching them individually. Our toddler loved this and is entertained for a period of time. I would definitely recommend the others to purchase it really is a great product.

    Usually like this Brand
I received this toy to review. I normally like this brand. There stuff is always very well made. And this toy is no exception. The reason I gave this three stars is because it really isn't enjoyable for atomizer. My just turned two year old enjoys sorting and stacking. But she didn't enjoy this. There are 12 blocks and 12 different shapes. There are also 12 different shaped holes. That means for each hole, there is only one block that will fit in it. I feel that this toy is not very kid friendly....way too many choices i. Which shape could actually fit which hole. And very little entertainment value. 10 minutes, and my kids lost interest.
