Great product! Nice extras. Recommend
This pump has worked great for me. I found this item in the clearance department of my Wal-Mart for $90 and couldn't resist. I was doing a lot of traveling with my Medela PISA and liked it for home use but found it to be a little bit bulky on the road. The Medela Freestyle set comes with everything you need including multiple flange sizes, a cooler, storage bottles, a carry bag, and the unit itself. It even came with a free voucher for a pumping bra! Overall, I found it to be a quality product that performed well and was convenient at home, but especially for traveling. The bag is plenty big to use as an extra diaper bag as well. The parts are fairly easy to clean and maintain and it seems like any replacements you need are fairly easy to come by. The suction didn't seem to be quite as effective as the PISA, but I didn't really expect it to be. If you haven't had a supply issue, this pump is probably fine. You must make sure it is assembled correctly and logged up right to ensure a proper seal and effective suction. Also if you use it whole working around the house, be aware that if you lean over too far milk will spill out of the bottles. I have recommended this product to several friends looking for something more convenient. Full price would have been difficult for me to swing but if insurance pays part or it's on sale, it's definitely worth trying.

Total Let Down
I purchased this pump after tons of research and for its cord free option. However, for a mom returning to work who is exclusively pumping, this pump has been a struggle, every pump. The parts do not go together easy and if they aren't just perfect, the pump doesn't work. I have even ordered two sets of replacement parts hoping to make my life easier in the middle of the night. No such luck. Every pump is a trial and error of which parts will work today. I am very let down as if pumping/breastfeeding isn't a process in itself. I am in love with all my other Madela products, I love the bottles, accessories and cleaning supplies, I just wish my pump was easier and more convenient to use. I wish I would have gotten a different model.

    Hit or Miss
I bought this pump because of its convenience. I can walk around the house and pump. However, the suction of one of the pumps stopped working. I received a replacement and it worked the first couple of times and then it stopped working. I have tried multiple ways to get the pump to work again but now both pumps have lost their suction. I spent a ton of money that I didn't really have for this pump expecting it to be better than most of them and now I feel like I wasted my money and now I'm not able to pump as much for my baby because I can't afford to get another pump and my insurance isn't covering me to get one.

    So many moments of frustration!
4th time mom, but first time breastfeeding. My son was born at 31 weeks so I was unprepared for my breastfeeding journey. Call me naive, but I didn't realize there was such a difference in the various pumps. Prior to discharge, the hospital home equipment rep brings me my pump. I was super excited because it was a nice pump that came with a cute bag and accessories. Little did I know I'd fight with it for 3 months. I should have known something was up when the lactation consultant in the NICU kept telling me I should rent a hospital grade pump (here I thought they were just trying to make money off of me). As a mom that's exclusively pumping, it's beyond frustrating to have to swap out parts midpump because the membranes get wet and lose suction. This meant I had to have multiple pumping setups in order to make it through the day (so much wasted money). I'd literally have to stop pumping, go swap out parts, and start over. There was cussing and tears on many occasions. I finally had enough so I bought a Spectra S2 and I love it (I love it so much I bought a second to keep at work). I also bought elvies for the portability. I wish I would have been able to research my options prior to having my little one, so I could have been better informed and educated. Ladies, I highly suggest getting a pump that has duckbills. I swear this made all the difference. I would have given it a 1 star, but it got me through the first 3 months (even though it made it way harder than it should have been).

    It doesn't work
I bough this pump because I like that it was wireless, however The suction is terrible when I try to pump it takes A while for my letdown, is really load compare to other pumps and, when I pump with this pump I get max 4 oz from my left breast and 2oz from my right breast when I pump with my spectra pump I get 6oz from left and 4 from right that is a big difference. I wish this pump work better because it is convenient for work. :/ don't waste your money

    Backflow
I bought it a week ago. This being the second one to do this. First lost suction then pulled milk into machine.

    Great Product!
This pump is simple to use and EASY to travel with. I originally borrowed it from a friend for our trip to Hawaii and FELL IN LOVE. I went ahead and made the purchase for myself, zero regrets! Thanks for a great product

    I cried when it died!
Though pumps aren't meant to be shared, I was having a difficult time with my “free” insurance pump. It was bulky, loud and not easily portable. My friend offered her old pump and I bought all new lines/flanges. My life was immediately changed. I could do dishes, continue to to my job at work and even drive (not truly recommend, but ya know who has time not to!) My son was 8 months old when it died. As a full time working mom who had to pump, it was either go back to my horrid pump, or stop breastfeeding. I bawled at my options. My wise husband said “buy a new one!” & thank goodness he did! We breastfed till 15 months, and have it stored safely if we procreate again :)

    DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY THIS PUMP. It makes me want to give up and quit pumping every single time I use it. It's impossible to get adequate symmetrical suction on the first try. During every single pumping session I have to mess around with the valve connection on one if not both sides which is TERRIBLE because I wind up leaking milk all over. Sometimes I just give up and pump one side at a time because that's all I can get to work which is incredibly frustrating because it doubles the time I have to pump to empty both sides. I've tried to isolate if it's one piece that's not working but it's not, it's different every time. Simply put, do not buy.

    Convenient but easy to spill
While I love the convenience of not needing to be near an outlet I have spilt milk several times due to the gap at the base of the pump. If you don't do anything when you're pumping you should be fine but if you have it angled or bend over to give the baby a pacifier you may spill milk all over her
