Perfect size, and ability
Since there is not a large selection of electric outdoor grills available, I decided that this model seemed like the right choice. It no longer seems, but was the right choice. Grill's temperature is right for burgers, fish, vegetables. And is the right size for a condominiums deck or patio.

Horrible instructions
Not all hardware included to put grill together. A universal booklet was given for seven grills, not specifying the grill sent. No pictures of the grill or how to set it up. Several hours have been spent trying to figure out how to do the grill and what hardware would need to be purchased to finish putting together the grill before it can be used. A great disappointment.

Better off buying the entire grill. A little effort putting together. The first worked for years before losing the ghost..element burned out. Little did I know that I could have bought another element directly from Meco at the time. Ugh! The first grill was given to me and didn't include the owners manual so I didn't know about the ability to order parts. My new grill works great! Cooks food evenly, easy to use and I really like to ability to control temperature while cooking. I love this grill!Greg

Someone in our complex had this very grill on their balcony. This isn't a bad alternative. We cooked a 1" thick steak on it. The flavor was good and the steak cooked up just the way we like. It was tender and juicy. It wasn't too difficult to put together. My husband and I did it in about 1/2 hour. Be prepared, it does take a little longer to cook than on a regular grill. Other than that, this is a good product for the price.dmcurrie24

I had a similar unit (same manufacturer) for 20 years and it finally rusted out, so I replaced it with this purchase. I can plug it in and start barbequing right away - no need to light the charcoals and empty the ash afterwards. I don't need to keep an eye of the propane tank or worry that it might run out in the middle of my barbeque either. I had an electric rotisserie with my old unit which I kept and can use with this new replacement. It is perfect for cornish hen, etc. I liked this so much I bought one for my girlfriend as a house warming gift.eShopper835

The food taste awesome but the second time I used it on the bottom front a small area went from the color red to orange. A piece of the plastic control knob where the sticker showing the position where to cook what broke off. I just brought the grill about 2 weeks ago and I did purchase the 2 yr warranty I'm returning the grill for a replacement. You can't go wrong buying this grill it's great for apartments patio where you can't have gas or charcoal grills. The food taste really great and the cook time is fast. I can't wait to get my replacement grill and get to cooking.Jazzie1

I was a little disappointed with the drip tray so I followed anothers advise and did not use it. I just put foil along the bottom. It works fine and captures the drippings. Just remove the foil every 2 time and put a new piece down. It's a nice unit. A good design. BBQ with the lid closed to hold the heat.AZDave1
