Great taste. Easy to freeze and unthaw
I love that this meat comes in individual 1 lb portions. It's easy to freeze and then you just pop them out of the packet to unthaw. We always buy organic beef, and Marketside is a much better price for the same quality

I usually do not have a problem with this product. My complaint is more with the online pick up. There was a 2-3” cut in the packaging that was placed in my order. The associate who stocked the product and selected the product for my order failed to make sure the product was in a salable condition.

    Fresh; Good Quality; Several Options Available
    I like this product %26 I'm a ground beef (all meat) snob. I also like (1) the different options of ground fresh Grass Fed - 80%, 85% 1/3 lb Pattie's (3 per package), 90%, 93% %26 bulk options %26 (2) the convenience of availability of a quality meat from Walmart w/my other groceries delivered by monthly Walmart Premium Plan, w/o having to order meat separately via a 2nd delivery from a boutique or higher-end local store (for a $7 delivery charge). NOTE: Numerous complaints here about mediocre flavor blamed on the Grass-Fed product. This item is 93% lean—only 7% fat. Higher Fat Content = More Flavor, which is why it's commonly recommended in the food industry (%26 why restaurants use) 80% (no more than 85%) for juicy burgers. This 93% lean product is best used with moisture added (tomato or spaghetti sauce for meatloaf %26 spaghetti; taco seasoning water for tacos, etc.). FRESHNESS: I don't doubt the complaints about expired or imminent expiration are valid; but, the expiration on the package in my fridge now is May 21 - I received it May 8, so essentially good for 2 weeks thawed/raw (I personally wouldn't push it nearly that long). Until I read these reviews, I haven't paid attention to the dat3 - but have never noticed a foul smell, discoloration or gotten sick (except once I thawed %26 refroze - that was my fault).

    Three week old hamburger
    I want a refund. I don't have time to run back to the store and go inside to the counter to return a pound of hamburger that has a used by date of April 9 and today's the 25th. Unbelievable.

    not very happy
    Ordered, paid for this item but did not receive it when I picked up my order. Now, if I am able to get the item after paying for it, I will have to drive almost 7 miles to pick it up. This is not the first time this has happened.

    not 16oz per package
    disappointed. can't say anything on the taste yet but i am on a strict diet so i weight everything and calorie count. this claims to be 16 oz a package with 4oz as a serving so i would get 4 servings per package. upon weight in and out of the package it is an oz or more short every package. now this won't madden the average customer but now i'm out a whole serving because i can't get a perfect 4 per package. so anyone who cares about the weight and or calories per package, this is lying to you

    Expiring sane day as delivered and one leaking
    I was very upset to receive 2 packages of ground beef that expired the day they were delivered!!! And one of the packages had a pin whole in it which lost the vacuum seal and had a small amount of blood leaking out. Absolutely disgusting!!!

    Fine ground beef, quality!!
    Best buy wagyu or bison. Once I tried this brand of ground beef I never went back. It is really good and almost fat free. Great for meatballs and burgers. Thanks Walmart for carrying such a good brand
