Multi-purpose bench, indeed
Perfect for the intended use. Sturdy. Easy to install with the instructions. They have parts separated by each step of installation. Exercise instructions and pictures are helpful for beginners.

Marcy utility bench -
Unfortunately this bench isn't designed very well. The two connecting points to the base render this bench unstable if you're using it as a weight bench. I believe that it has a 400 lbs. maximum weight load. I am 165 lbs. I tried to bench press about 150 lbs. in my smith machine; the unit was rocking side to side to the point of danger; I had to place the weight on my emergency rack to avoid injury. The photos illustrate the weak link that causes this unit to rock. The plastic sleeve inside does not help as it isn't snug enough.

    too soon to tell
I can't give a complete review because I have not been successful in getting the bench put together. It came with an Alan wrench and also requires an adjustable crescent wrench which I do not own. I tried using a pair of plyers but was unable to tighten the bolts. Hopefully I can purchase a crescent wrench and get it put together soon.

Easy to adjust for incline, flat, or decline. Easy to assemble. Too short. I am 5 foot 9 inches tall and this is a little short for some decline exercises. The adjustable area where your feet lock in is not built for easy and quick in and out access. Overall construction seems solid, but I have only used it for two weeks.

    Very cheap bench
Pre drilled holes were not aligned properly, I'll need to contact customer service to have replacement shipped out. It's also uneven and stands higher at one end causing the bench to be wobbly. I may end up returning it. Still thinking about it.

    Sturdy bench
I ordered this bench because i needed one for the Hammer and Chisel Program i am doing. It's very sturdy. I have to stand on it and its never unsteady. I love the fact that it folds away when needed. It's the perfect bench i was looking for!

    Need to correct problem
This product has a default in manufacturing ,the seat preset bolt holes do not line up to secure seat. On the bi holes they are about one inch off. Need to correct problem .

    Nice
This is a very nice and sturdy little bench for the price I'm actually amazed. I weight 250 and use 80# dumbbells for presses with no issues. That's over 400# total weight and it holds up well. Overall I'm happy but the hand grip are no use to me they are position wrong height for my body structure.

    good for price
inexpensive adjustable bench. Works for light workouts, not heavy duty so don't expect too much.
