Lots of fun!
I gave this to my nephews who are under 12 (recommended age) and they LOVE it! We played it for hours. The puck slides perfectly on the board. Of course time will tell if it last, but for now lots of fun with the family.

Good quality - faulty equipment
This was an awesome game. Just the right size and the kids enjoyed it! After a few sessions of use, the blower motor stopped working and there was a smell of burned wires. Very disappointing and a hassle to have to deal with by having to return the item.

    Feature Not Functioning
    The table has a motor that is suppose to cause a fan to blow air on the table to lift the discs. The fan is not turning, and the motor seems to be overheating. Since the motor is glued to the table, we would have to dismantle, re-box, and return the entire table. We decline.

    No AIR with this Air Hockey game...
    An Air Hockey game needs AIR! The blower/fan motor stopped working within the first hour of play time. My grandchildren were very disappointed. They had been having a great time playing on this very fun version of air hockey before the fan stopped working. We ordered a replacement fan which added $20 to the cost of the game. On a positive note...the size and appearance of the game were great and it arrived in good shape and on time.

    Christmas present
    Was looking for something not to big and decent for the price. This table was perfect. Seems to be well constructed and good air flow for a smaller air hockey table. Manual scoring was a good way to go since I had heard that a lot of the electronic ones had problems with scoring properly which could be an issue with 2 kids playing and arguing about the score lol! Overall for size, price and construction I feel it's a good deal!!

    Mainstream Classics Mini Air Hockey, 42"
    I was disappointed! After days of excitement about giving my grandson this air hockey game for Christmas, the game did not work! I was so sad. No problem when we returned it back to the store. I ordered it online with a credit card that my husband did not have, so they credited it onto our bank credit card...which was appreciated. This is the first time I ordered from Walmart. I'm looking forward to a more positive experience in the future.

    Damaged product-twice
    We ordered the air hockey table as a Christmas gift for our children. After opening the first one we ordered, we discovered it was damaged. The plastic corner bracket was damaged (see pic). We ordered a second table that was to arrive two days before Christmas. This one was more damaged than the first table. The leg was smashed, and the top edging was damaged (see pic of damaged leg). Because there was not time to order a third table, Santa gave the least damaged one to our kids, and we returned the other table. The entire process was disappointing and an inconvenience. We also tried to call the manufacturer, GLD. They do not answer their phones, and we could not leave a message or email with a part number, because there was not a part number for the parts that were damaged, originally.

    Good product - poor delivery
    Easy to assemble and worked as advertised. Only issue I had was shipping (Walmart in store pick-up). Box had cuts from shipping straps and 2 plastic corner brackets of game were cracked or broken. Parts list did not show the brackets as replaceable parts and I had to give the unit to my granddaughter for Christmas damaged.

    Bought this for my Grandchildren and they have really enjoyed playing. They had never played this game before, and have a lot of fun competing with each other. I have played against other adults, and we have as much fun as the children.

    A Better Tabletop Air Hockey Game
    The Mainstreet Classics 42" Air Hockey Game seems the right size for kids from 3 to 12 years old . I researched other air hockey games and choose this one for it's size and quality. The Mainstreet 42" air hockey game has a powerful motor. The hockey puck floats evenly across the entire board. It appears to be constructed well and has taken a slam or two by an excited player. The two main complaints with other air hockey tables is insufficient air and the puck goes flying out of the goal slot. We have not experienced either of these problems with The Mainstreet Classics Air Hockey Table. This model is 42" x 24" and is called a Mini, but it is actually larger than most other tabletop air hockey boards.
