Budget Friendly
I purchased several sets for my daughter who has 6 kids. These are not the thickest towels but they serve the purpose for a large family. The pastel colors are pretty. I pre washed each set separately to cut down on balls. A little fuzz in washer however lint trap in dryer was completely full. Length of towels shrinkage was about 6 to 7 inches. See difference before and after wash. These are ok for a large family on a budget.

25 year old Mainstay Towels vs Mainstays Towels
I purchased two sets of these towels set in different colors for my guest bathroom. There is nothing about these towels I like. My guest explained to me that the towels are paper thin, too much shedding and quality of the material has a very cheap feel. I have 3 sets of 3 piece set of mainstay towels I purchased 25 years ago original purchased for two kids. The kids are now 27 and 32 years of age. Those 25 years ago towels are in better condition than the new one week old mainstay towel recently purchased here. The crazy thing is I use the 25 year old towels as bath mats for standing on upon getting out of the shower or tub. My guest prefer using the 25 year old towels to dry off. The striped towel is 25 years old on the side by side and the top self.

    Bath towels are small
    These are not bath towels for adults, they are for kids. The picture I'm including is of a 4 year old, and it's the perfect size for him.

    Don't trust the picture!!!!
    I feel someone at Walmart Photoshop this towel set from some other manufacturer. The color is right but the size and thickness is much smaller and thinner. Looking at the photo in the advertisement and what I got was night and day. The only reason I am giving the towels two stars is the cost. Very inexpensive towel set. Otherwise I would have returned them.

    Not Soft or Durable
    I purchased these towels after reading some of the better reviews. Do not be fooled. These are not soft or durable towels at all. When I picked them up from the store, I they did not look like the picture. I had to verify the item number to make sure they were the ones I ordered. They were. I decided to wash them and see if they would fluff up in the dryer. They didn't. Half of the towels were in my dryer's lint trap.

    Very cheap!
    Very cheap, thin and small. If your looking for a good set this isn't it. The towels are tiny and thin. I washed them and they are not soft as some reviewers said and this can't absorb much as it is too thin. I bought 2 sets and I'm returning them.

    Very cheap quality
    The towels dont look bad, but the bath towels are very small. The color bled alot when washed. The towels also had runs in them after just one wash and seams were coming lose. These will be great for a garage or cleanig, but definitely do not recomend for any thing else.

    Smallish bath towels
    the washcloths and hand towels are ok. The bath towels are too small for bath. But will make great hair towels for long hair. They are by no means fluffy. They are thin but not a cheap see through thin.
