Tougher than it looked
Wasn't sure about this bed whether it would be flemsi or not but I can tell you it is very solid and the instructions are very well laid out. It is easier to put together than anything I ever bought from Ikea and bottom line is that it is a good bed. Bought the 8 inch memory foam mattress but my wife worris it's a little too high on top, it's not. Anyway, great bed, two thumbs up, 5 stars, we love it

Disappointed
Picked up these bunkbeds from the store. The box was not damaged but when we opened it, pieces were damaged. Looks like they tried to glue pieces to make them look whole? Very disappointed. Have no beds to sleep in tonight and they are not in stock at the store. What a pain.

    Do Not buy this bunkbed
Do not buy this bunkbed. I purchased this item from Walmart.com and hired a handyman to assemble it. After the assembly we found out so many cracks (17 cracks were found). It looks like the item I received was a returned item and the manufacturer tried to repaint all the cracks and sold it again like a new item. Frustrating return process as the item has already been assembled. Those who are going to buy this item, please make sure to check all the parts for cracks before assembly (I missed this step).

    Compact. Affordable. Flimsy.
Installed this in a vacation rental property as one of the few bunk bed sets narrow/compact enough to fit two beds in a smaller room. Assembly was nontrivial and two people are definitely recommended. Additionally, support slats are minimal so I ended up supplementing with an additional bed slat twin set purchased separately. Unfortunately within two years' time bed bolts were getting loose (admittedly from adults heavier than the recommended 160 lb limit sleeping in it), leading to noticeable swaying of 1 of 2 beds. Consequently, as a result of some poor behavior on the part of guests sleeping in the room, one of the bunk bed's connecting dowels broke and the entire top bunk slipped off the bottom which due to the non removable integrated ladder, cracked the side support beam and rendered the top bunk unusable. The fact that the top and bottom bunks are held in place by what amounts to little more than a tiny IKEA wooden dowel is concerning and would be far better secured by a legitimate metal pin that can't so easily snap in half. Again, this was younger adults likely acting in a manner not conducive to general bunk bed safety, but anyone that's raised/seen/witnessed children have a pretty good sense of how well they follow rules when no one's looking. Overall, a good/affordable bunk bed set, just be prepared to retighten bolts on a regular basis, find better connecting dowels, and secure additional twin bed slats to make up for the minimum support provided by the ones included.

    Frustrated experience
The bed was split all over, pieces were broken, pieces didn't work properly for the areas needed. Very very disappointed in this product and will not be buying another one. I went back to the store to look at another one and they opened it at the store and it was also cracked open. Terrible product and the product was cheaply made.

    Good for the price
Really nice for the price, my daughters love them, they are 4 and 8 and I think these are the perfect size for their ages. Was fairly easy to put together, it helps to lay all the pieces out and just follow each page step by step, double check photos on instructions, with 2 of us it took 2 hours. One of the pieces had a mark on it that Ill have to cover to match the grey now but overall everything looked great. Only complaint is that is comes with exactly enough screws and wood pieces that you need to put it together so if you lose one youll have to go out and buy a replacement, they should add a couple extras just incase. Id still recommend though.

    Best bunkbed I could find
Great quality and easy to assemble (instructions were easy to follow). It took us 4 hrs because we have toddlers (2 and 4) and they wanted to be part of the process of putting it together and we let them help. Otherwise, I think in 2 hrs could be perfectly done. We got expresso and we are happy with our purchase. I love the design, clean lines. It looks like an expensive bed and we paid under 200. We are completing the beds with PBK bedding sets. Considering value-quality is the best option. (We still need to get the mattresses, the sheets and the covers for the duvets)

    Solid beds, great price
We bought these for my 4-year-old twin boys. We knew they would fight over the top bunk so we bought them with the plan to keep the beds as separate twin beds. It worked out perfect. The beds are nice and solid. They are made of wood not manufactured wood. I weigh 270 and they feel really solid when I lay on them. We should have these until they are in their teens. The directions are easy to follow. Everything goes together with a provided Allen wrench. I used a drill with and Allen bit that made the assembly A LOT easier. If you are going to set these beds up as separate twin beds, DON'T follow the directions to the end. You'll just have to take parts off.

    Impressed
I was skeptical because of price but read decent reviews and decided to purchase. I really like how sturdy the bed is and it looks really nice. Easy assembly and my kids love it. I bought the 6in mattress because my kids are still little and i wanted the mattress to be low enough that the upper rails still give enough protection from falling off. Very happy with my purchase. Money well spent.

    Good 'quality', but color's off
I ordered this for my 4 yr old son. The overall quality (sturdiness, durability) is pretty good, especially for the price. My son LOVES it... BUT the colors are WAY off!! I viewed the bed & color options from 2 phones & 3 different computers (was trying to match to other existing furniture. And aware that stuff can 'appear different' on different devices). Well the color I wanted (pine) was pretty similar on all the devices. So I was confident in that choice. After arriving (assembled by the hubby while we were gone= Christmas present). I was VERY disappointed in the color!!! The ACTUAL color is the one they show for walnut. I double checked box packaging, numbers & words all= pine. Not sure if wrong wood got in wrong box, or what?!?! But no stores around me carry these or different wood colors. So I have no way of comparing or disputing (besides me saying looked at it on 5 devices prior). Now my son has & loves it, but it matches NOTHING!! And now his room looks like a hodge podge of wood colors. :(
