Looks great!
Once I received the Mainstays Solid Aqua Tufted Shag Area Rug, I layed it out in my spare bedroom and the aqua color matches the room very well.. It toook a few days, and with some heavily weighted items on each of the corners, to be able to lay flat. It's just the right thickness, with it looking like it could be part of shag carpeting. It has the backing to help it stay in place, on the reverse side of the rug.

Shoe Prints on Rug
Opened up the rug and there were shoe prints on the underside. Rug itself is not bad from what it seems, so giving 2 stars instead of one. Will be returning.

    This is such a nice area rug. The coral color is beautiful! The area rug is 5x7, a big size! Perfect for any area you are looking to add to. The rug is so comfortable, and soft. Once I unrolled the whole family couldn't stop walking and or laying on it, all before I could put it where I wanted. Easy to onroll, smell faded away. The area rug is easy to clean. Perfect for our nursery.

    The Mainstays 5'x7' solid shag area rug is very comfortable to walk on and sit on. It vacuums easily for being a shag and it's made well so no fibers have come loose while vacuuming. The color (I have teal) is very vibrant. This area rug has a rubber backing so it would be perfect in a child's room/play area or college dorm room since it won't be slipping and sliding around! I highly recommend purchasing this area rug!

    Very nice, great size
    This is a really nice rug. I love the size. As you can see in the picture it covers a large part of the floor, which is what I wanted. The color is such a pretty aqua. My only dislike is that it's not as fluffy and is a bit thin. When it's roled you can see through the back of the rug. I haven't considered a rug pad since it's on carpet but that may be the remedy.

    Beautiful peach color.
    This is a 5 by 7 shag area rug in coral. I thought this rug was going to be orange and hard to match anything. But to my surprise it was a soft peach . It is beautiful. It arrived wrapped in plastic. What I noticed about it tho, when I ran my hands over it, was it's not woven very thick. You can see the backing when you rub your hands on it. That's the only problem I had with it. I don't know if that would be a problem for anyone or if it would be noticeable when walking on it. I put that I would recommend it to a friend because it is beautiful . In a area with low traffic this might not be an issue. That's what I will do with it , I'll put it in my sewing room. In there it can be beautiful and it won't be exposed to high traffic.

    Very soft area rug
    Mainstays Solid Aqua Tufted Shag Area Rug, 5'X7' Is very soft and well made. We put this in our grandkids room and it's a nice feature add on and the aqua is a great color. The fiber feels like this rug should take a good beating and be easily cleaned.

    Mainstays Solid Aqua Tufted Shag Area Rug, 5'X7' This rug is just beautiful. As you can see in my pictures my walls are a teal green, my bedspread is paisley with green. This matches my bedroom perfectly and looks great in there. It's a short shag, nice and soft. The backing is latex and sticks to the floor as it should, it does not slide around.

    This rug is very pretty! I love the pastel color. The shag is the perfect length. Not too long and not too short. I put this in my girls room and it matches really well. It is soft and holds up well. Unpacking is simple and the rug rolls out and not wrinkles at all. Lays flat within minutes. It has already gotten lots of use. We sat down on the rug and played and when I left the girls room they were still playing on it hours later. Feels great on your bare feet and is a great rug to have in any room in your home. It is a good size rug and adds at that extra touch to your room.

    Big size! It's Perfect! Just what I wanted! Lovely coral color exactly as pictured. Nicely made! The material feels soft and cozy. I love the fact that these beautiful Maple Rugs are fully made in the USA. Care instructions included for maintenance to help keep its beauty for years to come. While unpacking I laid my beautiful new big Shag Rug on top of my sofa bed for a minute and my cat decided it was perfect to sleep on!     Cleaning May e a pain but worth it
    This solid 5 feet by 7 feet shag area rug is a beautiful color. The solid color makes it easy to put in any space that needs a pop of color. It can go in a bedroom, living room, dining room, or a spare bedroom being used as a craft room. It is definitely soft and soft enough to enjoy lazing around on it or playing board games on it. It doesn't smell at all like some new rugs do. I like that shaggy rugs have their own individuality and distinctiveness apart from other style rugs. Like other rugs shag rugs in my opinion gives the home just a little more definition. Their trendy, textural, and depending on the space you lay it down, creates a fantastic focal point in any room. Full disclosure, while these rugs are extremely attractive and appealing, there still are some cons to having them. Shag rugs are high maintenance, so far the ones I've seen are not eco friendly (which is fine with me), and shag rugs are prone to dust allergies. Even with all that I have stated, I really like the rug. I have multiple allergies and I have not had any allergic reaction to this beautiful rug.
