    I hate cleaning and slicing fresh mushrooms and most of the time they just go bad sitting in the fridge. These jarred mushrooms taste not quite as good as fresh ones, but they're still tasty and much better than canned mushrooms. I make sure to pour out the liquid and rinse them in the jar with tap water a couple times, then dump the mushrooms onto a big cutting board and leave them for like 10 minutes to dry out a little. They're great to chop up and add to ground meat, especially if you want to get more servings out of the meat.

    Opened my first jar of mushrooms and the the lid was not properly sealed and the mushrooms had spoiled. Walmart replaced the product . I ate that jar prepared with garlic and butter and they where delicious.
