To start the box came with tape around it. When we opened it my husband realized there were several parts missing and all of the poles were damaged with scratches and dents. Very disappointed. We wanted to love this item.

    So far it's ok…
    Wish it came with a bag. Bought this in the winter so haven't had a chance to put it up and play with it so, the only thing so far that I really dislike is that it doesn't come with a bag to store it. Can't even find a bag big enough. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

    Buy it NOW before it's too LATE.
    This is a perfect net for those who want to save money. Sure the only downside is the delivery status but properly thinking and wisely choosing how to fix your orders, you too can end up with all the parts in perfect condition. To help others and find solutions to the bad reviews, for example, the bottom part of the net hanging a little loose. I also believed my net had a problem, but after looking up a video on how to properly maximize net tension, all my problems were solved and the net works perfectly. I strongly recommend you purchase this product before the price goes up since this net can, in my opinion, be raised to $300. Ignore the negative reviews since they only focus on the state of the box that some people can receive but not all. - My advice, replace, reorder, do whatever you have to in order to have the perfect equipment.

    VERY GOOD VOLLEYBALL SET!
    There were a couple of spikes missing. I had some from our last set and we made those work. Makes for a tougher assembly.

    Great net
    These are outstanding! I've played beach, sand, grass and even (yes) mud volleyball for over 30 years. These net systems are every bit the equal of Park and Sun's Spectrum. I was able to get the net just as tight and playable. The winches are a nice addition that is supposed to make the top of the net tight and it works, although I'm able to do it on other systems just as well without the little winches. I may take them off so that I can telescope the poles into one another for storage. The net itself is well-stitched and should be quite durable and long lasting, although I haven't had the benefit of several years to be certain. The guy ropes are 5/16" nylon with nice padded pull tensioners. The boundary lines are nylon flat webbing--nice! My volleyball teams are using these for training during Covid restrictions. I will also use them in my PE classes if we are ever able to attend in person again. If you are looking for a net that is good quality, do yourself a favor and spend a few dollars more for this one. I got both for $100 each plus shipping. Tough to beat!

    Worth the money if not damaged during shipment
    i really like this set and want to give it 5 stars but i cant because it does come with some issues. It is a quality set. The poles are aluminum and have 2 settings: men's height at 8ft and women's at 7ft 4in. I do feel like because the poles are aluminum and not steel they should be a bit thicker. They have held up fine so far but they do not give me confidence that they will hold up for a very long time. Whether they actually hold up has yet to be determined. The are rubber caps that cover the top. This helps to protect the ball from getting damaged if it ever hit the top of the poles. It does not come with plastic feet as shown in the assembly manual but thats not a problem. The net is sturdy and as advertised has 3in tape top and bottom with reinforced stitching in the corners. Would be better to have a triangular piece sewed in at corners for more reinforcement. There are some minor alignment issues w the netting when the net was sewed together but that is more cosmetic and does not affect function. The guy lines are great and measure 1.25in wide and even has the center mark on side lines to align w the net. The tension ropes for the poles are very big and sturdy. It attaches to the poles at the top using a strong steel carabiners. The top tension cord that goes along the top of the net is a nice touch not seen in other backyard sets. The cord attaches to a cranking system that tightens and keeps tension at the top. I have played on $300 sets that dont have this and the net sags quite a bit in the middle. I would have liked to see a larger diameter cord being used as the one that came with the set is quite small. It comes with a decent ball. I was surprised at how good the ball is. It is a bit heavier than an indoor ball which is probably so it doesnt get affected by the wind as much when playing outdoors. Feel is good. Much better than a lot of balls from other sets. My biggest disappointment with this thing is the packaging. As others have also experienced damage during shipment, i received my poles slightly dented so i was luckier than others. My set was still usable. I am also disappointed that a $100 volleyball set doesnt come with a carrying case. I have seem sets at 1/3 the price come with carrying cases. This makes the whole set very inconvenient to take places. If the packaging was better and if there was a carrying case that came with i would definitely hands down give this 5 stars even if it did not come with a ball. This set is as good as some sets 2 to 3 times the price. It even has the cranking feature for top tension rope that makes it better than most sets. Highly recommend but hope you do not receive damaged goods.

    I Would Highly Recommend This Volleyball Set
    After receiving the MD Sports Professional Volleyball Set I was not expecting much out of it at all. I previously had a volleyball net set up in my back yard for my kids. I ended up having to replace the poles and ropes within the first few weeks, because they just would not hold up to any use. The net finally fail apart due to the exposure to the outside elements within the first two summers. But this MD Sports Professional Volleyball set is defiantly more on the professional side of things. I could tell how well made this volleyball set was as soon as I unboxed it. The aluminum poles do not go into the ground, they set on top of whatever surface you may have by the way of flat round feet and the heavy duty metal stakes go in the ground and hold everything down with a thick polypropylene rope all ready set up and ready to go. The poles have a crank system affixed to them, to make it easy to crank on the handle and tighten everything up and they can be set at ninety seven or eighty eight inches high. The net itself is three feet high by thirty two feet long and extremely well made and looks like it will not have any problems holding up over the years. The set even comes with a flat rope so you can mark the outside boundary of the court at thirty feet wide by sixty feet long if you have the space for it, or you can go with whatever your yard permits. It comes with a volleyball and small hand pump. I would highly recommend this volleyball set if you're in the market for one.

    MD Sports Professional Volleyball Set, Includes 2 Steel Net Tension Adjusters and Aluminum Poles, Portable and Easy to Set Up This is a lightweight set for easy transport and comes with a convenient carry bag. It is durable, but I wouldn't leave the net outside all winter. Even the most durable nets can rot over time in very extreme weather. This set should have everything you need to play that fun backyard Barbecues game or a more serious game. The kit has sturdy poles with strong steel stakes and a boundary rope. It also has a pump to inflate the good quality volleyball. Serious volleyball players always bring a backup ball to the beach. The net is a good quality and easy to set up with an extra hand. It's a good way to get the children outdoors anytime of the year, not just during the summer at the beach. It has everything you need in one set that is easy to take to the beach or on vacation with you to set up at your rental house which is what we did. It was so much fun to go out in the back yard and play with all the family we had visiting and it was no trouble to pack and take as everything fits in the bag. The net was sturdy and stayed up during play and was a snap to put up. We anchored it with the spikes provided and it stayed put the entire night. Ball is sufficient for play and it's a great gift for a family too
