Best SALSA AND SMOOTHIES ON EARTH!!!!.....
This Blender is not only the best in quality, speed and durability... But it gave me the best blending power....AT JUST HALF THE SPEED....NOW I HAVE A TOP NAME BRAND BLENDER....BUT THE WAY IT BLENDED MY SALSA AND SMOOTHIES....I COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER BLENDER....EACH OF THE 6 SPEEDS DO THE JOB....BUT WHAT I LIKED IS ...JUST A LOW SPEED... GAVE ME BETTER SALSA TEXTURE AND BETTER BLENDED SMOOTHIES IN JUST HALF THE TIME AND SPEED AS MY TOP END BLENDER....THIS IS HANDS DOWN ....BEST BLENDER EVER....THIS IS A MUST HAVE IN EVERY KITCHEN!!!!

Shattered plastic bottom, circuit board exposed
Arrived with bottom of blender shattered below the electronic circuit board. The exterior Walmart box and Mainstay's blender box weren't damaged, so I'm not sure how the damage was done. Could it have been shattered before it was packaged in the Mainstays box? How cheap does a blender have to be to shatter in a relatively undamaged box? The return process is a little sketchy too. I don't have a printer so Walmart Customer Care told me he would escalate the return and a paper label will be mailed to me. I had scheduled the Fedex pick up in three days from the call. Somehow I don't think Walmart will be able to mail a label to me in time for the scheduled pick up. When I asked if Fedex could print the label at pick up, I was told no. Am skeptical about this return and refund.

    Not for modern uses
    Perhaps good for mixing wet ingredients only. But power-wise, it is weak and becomes weaker when ingredients are added. The main issue was that the blades are raised away from the bottom so a lot collects under there and goes unmixed without a lot manual stirring, even if ingredients are added while it is running. Not for me. I like a powerful blender for smoothies with many different textures of ingredients and when you add ice to the mix, a blender has to have power.

    NOT A BAD BLENDER THIS IS :)
    THIS IS A NOT SO BAD BLENDER IT CHOPS, MIX, GRATE, BLEND, LIQUEFY IT'S VERY SIMPLY I USED IT TO MAKE MARGARITAS AT HOME WITH MY SON. THE BLENDER IS LIGHT IN WEIGHT TOO AND SO EASY TO CLEAN AS WELL. THERE WAS ONE THING I WAS NOT TOO CRAZY ABOUT THE BLENDER IT WAS THAT THE BLADE PART DOESN'T COME OFF AT ALL. OTHER THEN THAT THE BLENDER WORKS GOOD AND IT MAKES A NICE HOUSE WARMING GIFT TO BEGIN WITH IN YOUR HOME. YES I DO RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT IT'S PRETTY GOOD THIS BLENDER, AND IT DOESN'T TAKE UP A LOT OF SPACE IN YOUR KITCHEN COUNTER.

    This turned out to be a lot better than I thought that it would be. I was somewhat amazed by this blender. The container is plastic, but it is very dishwasher safe. When I first got it I soaked it in hot water & dish soap just to be safe (as the directions state- don't turn it on with soap it for obvious reasons). So far I've chopped several trays of ice & some coffee beans. For an inexpensive blender, this one hangs in there with the big dogs. Highly recommended.

    I absolutely love the Mainstays 6 Speed Blender. The power and speed of this blender is phenomenal! Whether you like things softly blended or full on liquified, this is the blender for you! I have used it for smoothies, shakes and crushed ice and everything came out perfect. I love the multi speed, it's useful for anything you need to blend. The color, shape and size is great, you can fit it anywhere in your kitchen. The blade is very sharp so definitely be careful when cleaning. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family!

    Perfect Size.. Doesn't Take Up Too Much Space!!
    I really like the size of this bender. Most blenders take up way too much counter space but not this one! It's got some really meaty blades on it that crush just about anything! It is pretty loud but it's powerful so it works for me. Has a nice look to it that would fit into most kitchens.

    Good for a starter blender
    I have only used this blender twice, it has a plastic pitcher and I don't see much deference in the speeds, I don't know about the longevity of the blender but it didn't bog down, just make sure you use enough liquid, you can't make a smoothie like a thick milkshake or you will be spooning it out and adding more liquid, in any blinder, I have done it a few times. I can't really compare it to my old blender but I looked and today's prices my old villa ware blender is well over a hundred dollar's and it only has 3 stars. The Mainstay blender shod be worth the price.

    Nice new little friend!
    This blender is sturdy, easy to clean, assemble, attractive, and works great. I have it only a week, but already had food waiting to be tried for treats/dinner (puree, smoothies, and chop veggies), and worked perfectly. I did try out the crush option (ice), and it worked nicely, but mainly will use for pureeing/smoothies/chopping, since I already have an ice makes (refrigerator), and feel better not risking shortening the life if I were to use the crusher, since I would then be using it several times a day, 7 days a week. As for using it for food, I can see myself using it a few times a month. It's not too bulky, so could be displayed on counter without it taking too much room away, or storage space in cabinet. I would definitely recommend this!

    Powerful and Easy to Use-Hopefully Will Last!
    This summer was extremely hot and I needed my warm weather blender drinks - iced coffee frappe in the am - fruit and yogurt smoothie in the pm. My 20-year-old blender - a high-end workhorse - was super hard to take apart and clean and I just needed something easy to use and take care of that would blend my beverages. After receiving the Mainstays 6 Speed Blender I first noticed how lightweight it was but it looked easy enough to use right away after reading the directions. I plopped in a tray of ice cubes in with cold coffee, sweetener and cream to see if it would crush up the ice cubes without a problem - my old blender never did that and there was always residual ice chips. I pushed the liquify button and not 3 seconds later - done! I was amazed at the power of this blender - it did not look like it would be so strong but it worked quickly to blend everything. I would say my only concern with this blender is if the outside casing will hold up to the inside power so I will see how well it will last with everyday use.
