Great beginner instrument
we home school and this is a great musical instrument for beginners. my 5yr old and 3yr old can both play. it helps make school fun for them and me!

    I give the instrument a 5 star as the my girls thought the clear pink was so cool not like the plain black ones most have. The sound just has squeechingly horrible as they are suppose to lol.............I truly believe whoever invented these things should have to compensate me for pain and suffering from all their practice lol.

    Not best recorder on the market
    I was pleased with the speedy delivery. However, I found the color that I received seemed different than the online picture. As I took the recorders out of the box I recognized that the cases they came in were cheaply made. My students will break those easily...the flap looks like it's been perforated so you can easily tear it off. THen, when I handed out the instruments one student showed me that her mouthpiece had already come apart - the cream colored center of the mouthpiece popped right out. I had her push back in and told her to be careful when pulling it out of the case. The Lyons or Laurent brands are not the best. Could you switch to selling the Yamaha brand in the various colors? It's a much better quality instrument.
