    Doesn't Work on Macbook Pro
    Is not recognized whatsoever by my macbook, even after exploring complex possible solutions. It does work on my PC but that's unhelpful since my PC has a disk drive. I should have shelled out the extra bucks and gotten one from a trusted brand.

    USB slot in the BACK of the computer.
    It worked fine. You have to read the instructions and plug it into a qualified drive in the BACK of the computer. The USB slot matters.

    Very bad product. does not read any cd, and boy did try several. I also try with dvd and does not work. Have to return product for a refund.

    Consider cord length as well as other factors
    Be aware the cord on this is extremely short about 7" so doesn't work so well with a cluttered desk surface. Plays ok.
