Best tasting jarred sauce.
I don't usually do this, but this sauce is sooooo good. I am Italian and have never used a jarred sauce. My grandmother is turning in her grave knowing I started using this sauce. During the pandemic, I needed as much room in my freezer as possible for meat. I have always made a huge pot of sauce and froze it in ball jars in my freezer. I use Lucini olive oil. It's great! One day I was at Walmart during the pandemic and thought, Let me just look at the pasta sauces. I was so surprised to find Lucini has pasta sauce. I tried it and we love it. Of course my daughter could not believe I bought jarred sauce. We have tried several different flavors. We have not been disappointed. Now, I know I'm going to have to make my sauce again soon, but if you weren't raised making your own sauce or need it in a pinch, this is a wonderful tasting sauce. You can't go wrong with this sauce. I highly recommend it.

Disappointing recipe change in 2022
Very disappointed in the recipe change! This was my favorite sauce prior, loved it since it did not have added oil… I reached out to the company- which I never do, but seriously loved it so much… to see if they planned on making it again and they did not respond at all.

    It is wonderful. I am so happy that there is no sugar or corn syrup or any other fancy names that still mean sugar. I used to make homemade, but it still needed sugar (even with organic tomatoes). It is delicious. It is not as sweet as what I used to make, however, I don't want the addicting and fat producing sugar nor the inflammatory making oils. It is an excellent sauce. I haven't found better.

    Bring back the original recipe!!
    Hands down the BEST sauce UNTIL they changed their recipe. Old recipe ingredients screenshot attached. @Lucini, bring back the old recipe that didn't have olive oil in it. The “improved formula” does NOT taste good at all.

    Too Tangy, needs to simmer much longer.
    Perhaps it's great if you're looking for a low calorie no added sugar sauce, but this isn't what I'd consider good eats by any means. I believe the sauce needs to cook down another... 8 hours or so as it's overly tangy.

    Excellent Sauce
    I've tried all the high end sauces and I think this is probably the best one out there. Could be others, just haven't tried every one and always feel safe with Lucina brand and Walmart's prices very good, about equal to sale prices at grocery stores when they have it. I used to make my own sauces, however, this is better than homemade.
