We LOVE this violin!!
My two-year-old is obsessed with all things music. Even though he's not the age this toy is recommended for, we decided to get it for him for his birthday anyway. He LOVES it. I can understand why older kids might be bored with it because it doesn't interact or anything like that, but that's perfect for him. He even drops the bow sometimes and uses the violin as a guitar!

I bought this for my granddaughter's 4 year old Birthday. She loves it. Plays with it everyday. It does not have strings, which I was surprised about at first, but then, no strings to break.

    A very cute toy
    This is all my 3 year old daughter wanted for her birthday. There aren't stings, but they can go through the motions like they are playing. My kids think this is great and have a blast with it.

    Both kids, 2 and 4 LOVE it
    I bought this for my four-year-old's birthday. She wanted a violin, but wasn't sure she was ready for a "real" one. She loves it. It plays enough different tunes to keep her interested for a long time. She will also loves to create her own songs. My two-year-old also will play with it, even though he calls it a "guitar" and plays it like one. Good interactive toy for young children interested in music.

    My grandson is having the greatest time with this!
    This gave his other Nana and Poppy a chance to share their love of stringed instruments and now when he is ready, he will be comfortable with holding the instrument correctly.

    Great product, engaging and fun
    My son loves this violin. He loves the variety of music, the bow and the different buttons. If there is one thing I would have liked to see is for the violin to make some sort of sound when the bow is used over the strings area. Overall though, it is a fun toy. My son went to sleep with it two days in a row and everywhere we go he has to have his violin.

    great way to introduce violin
    I was very excited to try this and am giving it to my grandchildren for christmas. Spend a little time to figure out how the buttons work as it isn't intuitive. The bow actually helps make music. I love it!

    I bought this for my niece's 4th birthday. She had gone to the local park concert where they let the children play with the various music instruments. She instantly wanted a violin. she was thrilled with this toy from the moment she unwrapped it. It was the birthday present she loved. Played with it right away and continues to play with it. She now wants a case to carry it in so she can take it to the next concert. Still works well after 3 weeks.

    My granddaughter is now wanting a "real violin" due to this violin and bow that I ordered on line. I had to do a "pinky promise" to get her a real violin for Christmas...She absolutely loved this product. I thought it might be to little for her, but it was the perfect size..She is 5 years old. This is one of the best products I have purchased from Wal Mart.. (I might add, I have purchased many)
