It's not perfect, but the kids don't mind
It was easy to put together, and has some really unique features for a water table, but it's also more work than other water tables. To get it going, you need 6 total batteries, 4 AAs and 2 Ds, bubble solution AND bubble bath. You add the bubble bath and water to the middle section, and bubbles to bubble blower up top. Once it's all ready, it takes a good 10 minutes to get enough 'foam' to play with. We ended up adding about 3x the amount of bubble bath in order to get it going. All of the switches, buttons, etc worked as designed, unlike some other reviews. We were going to rate this 3 stars due to the set up / clean up required, and the unproductive foam situation, but then we watched our 3 year old twins absolutely love playing with the thing. Since that's really what it's all about we bumped it up to 4 stars.

Awful Design
I was so excited for this product as my boys love bubbles. The first problem we encountered was the power button for the foam part is hard to use I had to wiggle it back and forth a couple times before it would actually connect with the button below to turn it on. Then I couldn't get it off for quite sometime which is annoying because the button is the perfect size for little fingers to press but the amount of strength needed to get it to activate the button on the lower portion that gets screwed in was ridiculous. Secondly, with having the put the top and bottom together it doesn't provide a full seal to the battery area so the battery compartment actually gets water inside which lead to rust forming after 2 uses. Last, the amount of bubble soap needed was far greater than 3 tablespoons to get the foam going and the amount of bubble solution for the upper bubble part is more near 4 tablespoons unless you want to keep refilling over and over which can be annoying. My boys did enjoy the table the two times we got it working, we tried a third time but I couldn't get the button to press down to turn the table on, tried taking it apart to figure out why and noticed the rust in the battery compartment. For it being an outdoor toy it did go through a rainstorm which I figured would be fine as not every parent is going to dry out an outdoor toy to bring inside after each use so the battery rust could have come from that but the compartment needs to be sealed better.

    Does not function property
Received a week ago. I Bought this for my 3 yr old & 18 month old grandchildren. Had no issues with assembly. I had to hold down the button foam tower in order for it to work and the bubble blower barely put out bubbles. Used more bubble liquid than said to. My grand kids loved the bubble's, has long has I had a hose going to make them. I have been purchasing Little Tyke toy's since my children were little ( now 42 & 38 ).I have never been so disappointed in there product before this. I just want to let buyer's to beware. I wish I had read reviews before purchasing it.

    Dissatisfied
I bought this in April. The large foam maker didn't work well and now has stopped working. It also leaks quit a bit around the middle foam maker. Very dissatisfied in this product.

Upset at the amount of money spent for nothing
We just purchased this product today. Followed instructions to a T, came to the bubble bath set up and it was beyond disappointing. We put brand new batteries in for the motor and after 15min we're only able to produce a small amount of bubbles. My 2 year old lost interest before we could get anything functioning. I'm going to try new solution/bubble bath and another set of high end batteries in hopes were not out the money completely. We were so excited for this as my LO loves bubbles. Very disappointed.

    It leaks
It would be great if it didn’t leak from the battery department.

    Adorable for all kids
My kids love playing outdoors especially in the lanai area, so this is a great activity water table for them to enjoy while I relax. You do have to put the mermaid water table together yourself, but all the peices are provided in the box. Everything kind of snaps in place, but there are a few screws that are needed to bolt some of the toys down. So the only thing you need that isn't provided is a screw driver. The door gate on the activity table definitly needs to be screwed in. There are also screws provided for the slide, but I honestly didn't use them because either the screws were too short, or they just weren't needed, because they would screw all the way in and kept falling out. I put together the slide without the screws, and it honestly didn't make a difference. Once i put it together and added water to the mermaid water table, I was happy that it does not leak out water from underneath, so I would feel comfortable enough with my kids using it indoors of I wanted. It's cute because the mermaid activity table comes with toys like, little mermaids, and a bucket. I thought this was neat, and it entertained my kids for a while.

    I know this is for
I know this is geared more towards the younger kiddos, but I could not resist, I had to get this for my daughter (she is 10)! She loves playing in the water and honestly has loved using her imagination with her L.O.Ls and such with it! As for the assembly, I put it together by myself within maybe 30 to 45 minutes, between the unpacking, etc. You will in a Phillip's screwdriver, as one is not provided for you. Assembly was pretty easy but I was not happy with some pieces that were rather scratched/marked up. But, no biggy. The 'door' that goes over the boat area does not stay put very well when water is in it, it floats rather bad. Also, I wish some pieces actually clicked in, at first I thought they did because there are slots, but, they kind of just sit there. I do wish it had a cover of some sort to go over it, but, I guess you could always make one yourself. Only reason I say that is because we have had a few stray cats get in ours to drink out of. All in all, it's a cute water table!

So much in a little space
My daughter loves this table. It isn’t big but there is so much for her to do. She loves the foam coming out of all the different places and just moves around it scooping foam. Then it’s bubble time. We get the bubbles going and she chases them and tries to pop them. Next she’ll move to the clapper and put the foam in and make it fly. She isn’t quite capable of using the pump to make bubbles but this is where I step in to help. When she gets a little older it will be something new to keep her busy. The first t one she played with the table she played for about an hour and a half nonstop. Now it keeps her busy for about forty five minutes then she’ll go do something else and the come back to it. Overall a really good water table for us. For the technical, stuff it took me about 20 minutes to get set up. It does require quite a few batteries and then of course the bubble solution and bubble bath for those features. I’ve been using it pretty regularly for over a month and the batteries are going strong. I have had to buy three jugs of bubble bath and bubble solution but it’s cheap and I use a lot more than the recommended amount.
