BOARD BOOKS
I bought these for my granddaughter' s second birthday, and believe they will be perfect for her. Keep in mind that they are quite small, but that makes them perfect for little hands. A young child can easily handle these because they are so small, and the heavy cardboard pages won't tear lIke paper. Note that these are perfect for a two-year old to read by herself, but parents will probably prefer a regular book when reading to their children. Don't let that stop you from buying this item because little ones love to have books they can read by themselves (and parents don't have to worry about all the pages being torn out). I would definitely recommend this item.

    Just the right size
    Hardback books are great for learning hands. The hardback helps hands to turn pages and be in contact and interact with the story. The carry case has a handle for small hands.

    These little books are great. The books are easy for the little ones to handle. The board pages are the best they do not tear. The illustrations are so colorful. The short stories are just the right length for the little ones attention span. The boxed case has all the books right at your fingertips. The handle makes it easy to carry around.

    Perfect books for little hands
    The Little Blue Box-of-Bright-and-Early-Board-Books-by-Dr.-Seuss is an excellent selection of little board books that are good for toddlers age 1-4. The hard pages are not apt to get bent or torn, and the toddler can carry the books around wherever they go. My friend was very excited to get this collection, as they have the books with the paper pages, but she did not want them torn. The shorter stories are more appropriate for a toddler's mind to follow.
