Good flavor and nice color
I love Lipton tea and the loose leaf is perfect for heavy ice tea drinkers like me. Very good flavor, I personally taste an improved flavor from the exact same tea in the bags, not sure why. It's hard to find it in stock though. One box doesn't have much tea, it runs out fast. I wish they sold a larger bag.

Not the same quality purchased in store.
Shipping was great and ordered received fast.
This is NOT the same tea that I previously purchased in store from Wal-Mart. There are no leaves. The tea is ground to a powder a little like the texture of ground coffee. I thought Orange Pekoe meant large leaf tea, not tea that looks crushed into a powder by a machine or truck tire. This is the second time I tried ordering tea like the store has or had with large leaves. I wasted my money with no way of telling till the package is open. It does not look like the Lipton tea that I have used for the past 60 years being all ground up to a powder.

You have to put the tea through a strainer first to avoid having sludge at the bottom of your pot/cup. The rest of the tea is a mixture of random, broken grades and a fair amount of twigs. Since you'll not be able to brew at least a quarter of it, it's not really much of a savings to buy Lipton's loose. I'd stick with Twinings or the Lipton tea bags. A shame. I much prefer loose teas and I had hopes for this.Kell

I think only due to fact that you do not have paper bag involved. Otherwise I think it is the same product. Very fine pieces tea. I expected little bigger pieces. Not like real Chinese expensive tea that you can tell future from, but bigger. Like cheap Indian tea I grew up with in Communist Poland at least.Sacha

I only use spring water- water is important to making good tea- and drink it iced with lemon- daily! I love it!!! I like that I can choose the sweetener, that it is not a chealy made soda that is bad for body. The fruity aroma is so beautiful and contributes greatly to the flavor of this tea....it is not a flat, tasteless tea, but is everything a great tea should be- refreshing!loveteaching

Fast forward to 65+ years later, I still keep a gallon of tea in the fridge, or have tried to. Lately I am finding it is next to impossible to find this tea, and of course, price has gone up. I don't know if it's my imagination but I can taste the paper used in tea bags so stay away from them. Once I found a great tea maker, the loose tea is easy to use and cheaper than bags.
