Easy assembly and control.
I had a lionel set from 1960 that burned in a fire. I finally bought this set to replace them and was amazed at the modern features. Realistic track, remote controlled speed, direction and sound. The cars could be more detailed but overall a treat. Not enough track to be entertaining, but track and scenery are easily obtained.

    Good train set to get started
    I was going to service and set up my 65 year old Lionels for Grandkids for first time-due to medical issues ran out of time. Bought Pennsylvania Flyer set-arrived ahead of scheduled time. Looks good-30 minutes to unpack/setup.Kids and myself love it-so do the cats and puppy. Needs to have one re-rail track section-otherwise very pleased with set-will match up with my vintage Plasticville and other accessories as we expand.
