Great Train for the Price
If you are looking for an entry level train that is easy to use and you love Harry Potter, this is perfect for you. It is very affordable at this price point and there is a great amount of quality and detail. It has a working headlight with sounds of a whistle, bell, and some of your favorite harry potter characters. It is battery operated so you don't need to worry about finding another plug to set this up. I would definitely recommend this product. The product has been provided by Lionel free of charge so I could experience it; however, the thoughts and opinions are all my own.

If you are looking for an entry level train that is easy to use and you love Harry Potter, this is perfect for you. It is very affordable at this price point and there is a great amount of quality and detail.     Clever!
    I'm such a huge Harry Potter fan and the train set was perfect under the tree. It's clever how the controller and train have to both be on in order to operate. This helped limit battery drainage while giving an alert as a reminder to turn one or the other on. The voice of the characters speaking lines from the first book are a nice added touch. Love love love this train set.

    Ready to Play Hogwarts Express Train Set
    This is a great starter train set to own. It is perfect for younger children to get introduced to the model train hobby. The sound quality is excellent, the tracks are very easy to assemble, and the controller is just the right size for smaller hands. There aren't too many buttons to confuse a younger child.     Great Holiday/Childrens Train
    Overall, This is a great train for simple holiday use, or for younger children. It is all battery operated, so it doesn't have the complication of wired connections that a regular Lionel O-Gauge set would have. It is slightly larger than your typical Lionel O-Gauge (See Picture, I included an O-Gauge for comparison). The remote is simple to use and includes buttons for sound effects. The center button on the remote plays sound clips from the movie. It has different sound clips for standing still (station sounds) vs. while moving. The full track when put together is an oval, about 50"x74". You could also just do a circle of about 50".     A Truly Magical Train
    This train set is amazing right out of the box!!! All I had to do was add batteries and lay the track! It sounds just like a real train and the real sound clips from the movie just add that must more to the experience! I have smaller trains that have a ton of details to them, but this train puts them to shame with the details they have added to it! I truly love this train and think you will to.     A great train set at an even better price!
    This train set is awesome! It includes all necessary pieces to set up and in under 10 minutes it is ready to go! The sounds are great, I love how the front of the locomotive lights up, and the cars are realistic. What stuck out to me, too, was the plastic used; it doesn't feel like it can be easily broken, which is definitely a good thing. For the price, it is a great value, and can make for a great starter train set, or a set to leave running under the Christmas tree!
