9 of the 15 skeins came in the same dye lot which helped a lot on the throw I was knitting. It looked like the order was filled from 4 different places and was delivered in 4 different shipments arriving over 2 days.

Love This Yarn
I recently knitted an afghan using this yarn that I purchased at another store, and absolutely loved it. I decided to knit another afghan but wanted this yarn in a different color, so I ordered it off the website from Walmart. The price was as low as I could find anywhere, and I was buying enough yarn to qualify for free shipping. A win/win situation. However, when the yarn arrived, I noticed defects on a few of the skeins, where the yarn had unraveled throughout the whole skein, making it unusable. I love the yarn, but was disappointed that Walmart did not examine their product well before shipping it to a customer.

    I'm new to using yarn in any way, and I'm currently teaching myself how to weave on a tabletop loom. My first project is to make a set of place mats for our dinner table, and I'm almost done with the first one. They are turning out beautifully, and the yarn is durable and very soft. If I have enough left over, which I think I will, I'm going to weave some matching trivets. My country table is going to look great!

    Better than Jumbo Yarns I Have Used in the Past
    First a disclaimer: In the past I have not liked working with jumbo yarns. However, this is the yarn that went with the pattern which my granddaughter chose for her afghan. I have been pleasantly surprised that it handles much better than jumbo yarns I have used in the past. On a large afghan the large splotching pattern of the variegation works very well. I don't know how it would work on a smaller item such as a hat. Also, I usually don't care for a knit afghan with worsted weight yarns since they are just not dense enough. The pattern I am using this yarn for is knit and it is giving a very nice weight afghan.

    Great Yarn
    I have used Lion Brand Wool Ease for years, and it is wonderful. Washes well, too. However, I only gave this a 4 star for meets expectations, because the color was MUCH darker than I expected. I returned it for that reason and ordered another Lion Brand in a different color.
