Great movie streaming device for my 4:3 tube TV
I'm totally blown away at how practical this little stick has become. I'm love the rich color and big picture of my 36" Sony CRT (tube) TV. I was able to plug this stick into my HDMI to AV/RCA composite converter/adapter to run Amazon Instant Video and Hoopla.com streamed video through this stick PC to my 4:3 aspect ratio tube TV. Windows 10 allows me to select the best screen setting to get the picture to display proportionally and undistorted on my antiquated 4:3 aspect ratio tube TV. Microsoft Edge web browser on this device plays Amazon video better than my Roku 1. My short experience with my Apple TV 3 was a big let down because I could not find an HDMI to AV RCA composite converter/adapter the would display the Apple TV’s 16:9 aspect ratio picture on my 4:3 aspect ratio tube TV without scrunching and distorting the picture. I sold the my Apple TV 3 and I’m getting ready to sell my Roku 1 because this Lenovo - Ideacentre Stick 300, with my Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 Plus, is the only movie streaming device I will ever need on my TV.

Cool device, horrible Wifi
The device was actually faster then I expected in terms of it being a PC. It booted up well and did basic functions well. Then it came to doing updates and installing programs, like Google Chrome, it struggled to do so in a timely manner. I expected as much for its price point and didn't mind. The WiFi though is HORRIBLE. Doing any downloads for updates took forever and don't even think about watching YouTube or Netflix, the most I could get was 1mb download speed. I did a speed test on it to verify the speed. It couldn't even handle 480p on their service, with my router being 15ft away and my cable service giving my main computer on average 45mb speeds.

Great price, made a digital picture frame from it
I can't believe Windows 10 Home is running on this tiny thing. Works and performs well for it size and specs. I had been wanting to buy a digital picture frame for a while, but when I saw this, I decided to make my own from an old 17" flat screen I had lying around. This is 5-star for what get for $99 bucks. Would consider buying another for my TV to make it Smart-er.

    ideacenre stick
I purchased to replace an Amazon Firestick that got hit by lightening. Very happy with the ideacentre stick. The Lenovo keyboard remote is a little awkward to use but it's ok. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Small
I hooked mine up to a 4-inch monitor, to create the world's smallest computer! I hope future models have speeds >2.6 GHz.

At the price, what's to complain about?
Works just fine; installed Office 365 and have over 18GB free. Some apparently want Lenovo to include a keyboard & mouse. Ugh. You are far better off temporarily configuring the device with a USB keyboard, and then pairing with a Bluetooth keyboard & Bluetooth mouse of your own choosing. Ignore reviews with unrealistic expectations.

    Great travel companion!
This is a good alternative when it is not necessary to lug around a heavy full featured laptop or a limited function tablet. Very tiny footprint, feather weight, but has all the functionality of a Windows 10 machine. A 2.4 GHz wireless 3rd party compact keyboard and mouse worked perfectly with the Stick 300. Added a powered USB hub as the device only has one USB 2.0 port which provided 4 ports - one used for the 2.4 GHz wireless receiver. HDMI connection to the flat screen digital TV was fairly straight forward but had a few minor setup delays. WiFi connection was easy and Windows 10 worked well with this configuration. Be sure that there is an AC power outlet nearby as the Stick does not have batteries. The AC adapter is small and light. Added a 64 GB micro SD card as the Stick only has 32 GB of internal storage and 2 GB of RAM. The resolution of some flat screen TVs are not really sharp enough for reading small text as in Word documents and web pages. Graphics look good and videos and music through the Internet played well without glitches. If you use this primarily for travel, confirm that the hotel you are staying at has modern digital TVs with an available HDMI port. Some low-end lodgings, like the Bates Motel, may only have old TVs without the HDMI option. Or if you can get to a flat screen display equipped with HDMI then the Stick 300 will work for you.

    Works great
This is an amazing gizmo. I am having fun, but here are few discoveries so far. Audio is available via the HDMI connector so if you have a Monitor that you want to use that doesn't have speakers or an audio pass-through, you will have no sound. It would be nice if the advertising mentioned this. I understand that they are jamming a lot of functionality into this form factor but it would still be nice to see an standard audio receptacle on it. Or they could have supplied that on the small HDMI extension that they already supplied in the box. Also, this little computer has an SD card slot that can take up to a 128 GB card. This is great but I had to do a lot of running around to find out what the spec was. The advertisement should state the capacity and type of SD card needed for this product. Last, I know, were talking about jamming more stuff into the box, but two USBs would have been great, and USB3. Perfect!!! Yea, I'm Never satisfied.

Superb Format...Ridiculous to offer only 32GB HDD
I just bought one for testing. Fantastic concept. Right out of the box I noticed 3 Major errors in judgement on the design. 1- HDD too small 2- Clumsy Cabling 3- Mini Keyboard not included? 1- HARD DRIVE SIZE -Way too small to support any real OS and Office productivity. I Love the idea of the tiny stick size format but still have extreme disappointment with ANY vendor releasing in 2015/2016 ANY device running a full OS and not calculating enough memory storage to actually USE the device? With Windows 10 PreInstalled- the device one updated, literally has only 12 GB left for available storage? Once I add Office 365, I am left with barely 5 GB of the original 32. Shame on all vendors who don't recognized this configuration specification flaw right out of the box? For $5-10 more, a 64GB internal would have made this a rockstar? Yes, I went out and bought a 128GB Micro SDchip. Messes up C: drive default storage options and really, why should I need to? Memory SD is so crazy cheap right now. I would have paid a bit more -$20-$50 more for a larger 64/128gb option. 2- POWER CORD TOO SHORT When plugging in the device, I am shocked that the designers, who created this device to plug into ANY HDMI supported display, never considered that 50% of users now mount their displays on walls. Getting the Micro USB Power connection supplied in the box, to the wall outlet, is always longer than the supplied 4 ft Cable ? A Minimum 6 ft cable should be included in the box. At least long enough to reach from wall mounted displays to the floor. Or even a mini power supply plug and floor based adapter, similar to laptop AC power? Also, a right angled plug would have helped in cleaning up the cord mess behind a device if it flowed in the same direction as the HDMI extension dongle cord. Currently it is messy. I have it Cord Wrapped with Velcro along with the HDMI Dongle as they now flow towards the Power Cord of the Display. 3- KEYBOARD. Should be included in the RETAL BOX. (It is a PC with no input) Right out of the box, the device will not configure or pair my Bluetooth Keyboard/Mouse combos ( Adesso/ IOGear ). I needed to use an older USB adapter with a K400 Logitech Combo. It works fine, but the key issue is that it now uses up the ONLY USB access I have to the device? An extra USB port would have been useful. SUGGESTION: Version 2.0 may want to consider a second USB Port or even a Clip on USB HUB. Maybe sold as a retail accessory to Expand connectivity to the device? It would not need to be too large? Width of two pencils? (Like the Add on accessory DVD for the M93pTiny PC) A small Custom connected USB to match the Single one on the Device could house- 1-2 USB ports, Mic/HeadPhone Jacks, SD Card reader...etc?
